Purpose of the Role:
TheDirector, Marketing Initiatives is responsible for driving strategic and project-based initiatives that enhance brand positioning and facilitate transformative changes across Marketing Team and it's cross-organizational stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic acumen, transformation and change management expertise, and leadership skills to effectively navigate the complexities of a dynamic business environment.
This role will operate on a hybrid working model and will be based in our Vancouver or Toronto office.

Core Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Support the Vice President, Marketing and the Marketing team with planning, coordination, and execution of key projects and initiatives.
Support the Vice President, Marketing and Marketing team with corporate brand strategy and rolling planning and measurement, including Board and internal stakeholder presentations preparation
Serve as a liaison between the marketing team, executive leadership, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
Operational Excellence:
Establish project management practices and governance within the Marketing team to enable the delivery of multiple, complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Support marketing operations including: brand and campaign launch initiatives, budget planning and tracking, and the development of key marketing processes, assessing team capacity and capacity planning, and status reporting.
Performance & Analytics:
Partner with the Marketing leadership team to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives and lead the tracking and reporting of metrics.
Develop and maintain a performance dashboard that integrates campaign analytics, brand health metrics, and stakeholder feedback
Other relevant and related responsibilities, as assigned and as the needs of the organization change.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required; a Master's degree (MBA) is preferred.
Relevant certifications in Project Management, strategic management, brand management, or change management are advantageous.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic planning, brand management, or business transformation roles, preferably within a corporate environment.
Proven track record of leading successful strategic initiatives that drive business growth and enhance brand reputation.
Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with senior leadership to achieve organizational objectives.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada for any employer.

Compensation & Benefits Package:
This position comes with a base salary range of
$140,000 - $175,000
plus a competitive performance bonus, RRSP contribution and participation in our profit-sharing program. Base salary will be commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
