Job Description

We are seeking a Practice Director who will be responsible for the overall direction and execution of activities related to our Low-code and intelligent automation practice in Americas.

Responsibilities

Act as overall Engagement lead for the region. Key responsibilities are in 3 focus areas in order of priority - Business Growth, Delivery and Thought leadership.

Business Growth

• Actively seek out additional business opportunities; form and maintain the pipeline.
• Collaborates with sales on forecasts, client business development, RFP responses and development of cost estimates to ensure profitability of engagements
• Collaborates with partners on practice development and joint sales efforts

Manage

• Drives P&L for the practice in the region.
• Manages practice operations to drive Key Performance Indicators.

Delivery

• Continually plan and deliver projects delivery to achieve an optimal mixture of new business and services from existing clients.
• Proactively manage risk throughout all phases of implementation including client expectations, engagement complexity, quoted estimate, consultant skill level and/or any additional areas that could impact deliverables.
• Promptly communicate, engage and act, as appropriate, to remedy client satisfaction issues that occur may occur prior to, during and after an engagement, escalating as necessary.
• Act as team/product lead; provide insight, direction, guidance, and mentorship on topics.

Thought Leadership

• Builds and maintains client C-Suite relationships.
• Participate in industry and company events that involve client-contact as required, e.g., annual user group conferences or internal technical conferences.

Skills

Must have

Must have a degree, MBA preferred

• 10+ years of consulting, management, or related experience, including a technical leadership or technology role supervising technology professionals
• 5+ years of experience managing a team, including a proven track record of mentoring, coaching, and developing talent in a consulting environment
• 5+ years of experience in Pega or Appian or Low-code products
• Strong networks in Pega or Appian ecosystem
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact successfully with C-level executives
• Proven track record of successfully growing a consulting practice

• Account Management or Sales experience
