Role Summary
As the
Director of Lifecycle Marketing
, your mission is to own the full lifecycle marketing function across Arcady Media's client portfolio. You'll architect and oversee lifecycle strategies that drive retention, engagement, and LTV, while fostering long-term client relationships rooted in trust and performance.
You'll lead both the client success and lifecycle strategy teams -- building proven systems for repeatable results, training new talent, and optimizing touchpoints across email, SMS, loyalty, subscriptions, and more. This is a strategic, high-impact leadership role for someone who blends deep CRM expertise with operational rigor and a client-first mindset

How This Role Fits on the Team
You'll sit at the intersection of strategy, client experience, and team leadership. Your role bridges the high-level lifecycle vision with executional processes and team development.

Key Responsibilities
Lifecycle Strategy & Enablement
Develop and own Arcady's lifecycle marketing frameworks for email, SMS, loyalty, subscription, and post-purchase journeys.
Build and document internal SOPs for segmentation, flow architecture, testing strategy, compliance, and analytics.
Conduct client audits and build custom roadmaps rooted in proven frameworks.
Lead CRM strategy across Klaviyo, Attentive, and complementary tools like Yotpo and Recharge.
Client Success & Strategic Oversight
Lead strategic onboarding for new clients -- define lifecycle priorities, align on KPIs, and establish communication cadences.
Act as the strategic lead for key accounts: run executive check-ins, gather feedback, and identify growth opportunities.
Establish success criteria and feedback loops with clients and internal teams.
Audit deliverables for brand alignment, customer insights, and retention impact.
Team Leadership & Operations
Recruit, onboard, and train Lifecycle Marketing Managers and strategists.
Serve as the go-to expert on CRM tools and lifecycle thinking across the company.
Maintain and optimize internal processes in ClickUp, Figma, and Slack to ensure transparency and delivery excellence.
Ensure repeatability of success by creating frameworks that scale across clients and pods.

Qualifications & Experience:
Required
5+ years experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or retention -- ideally at a DTC-focused agency or fast-growing brand.
2+ years leading teams or managing multiple reports.
Deep expertise with
Klaviyo

Attentive
,
Yotpo
,
Shopify
, and partner app ecosystems.
Track record of developing and documenting proven marketing systems and processes.
Experience leading strategy calls, guiding client relationships, and translating data into clear action plans.
Strong project management chops: you're able to juggle competing priorities, align cross-functional teams, and hit deadlines.
You love building -- whether it's a client roadmap or a new internal SOP.
Preferred
Experience building or scaling lifecycle functions within agencies.
Familiarity with ClickUp, Figma, Slack, and modern marketing stack tools.
Comfortable reading and interpreting performance metrics (repeat rate, LTV, CVR, CTR, etc).
Previous experience working with loyalty, referral, and/or subscription program tools (e.g., Recharge, LoyaltyLion).
