Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced Director to lead our organization towards achieving its strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills. As a key member of the leadership team, the Director will be responsible for driving initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and foster growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of the childcare operations Hire, train, and mentor staff to deliver exceptional childcare services Maintain compliance with all provincial licensing requirements and health regulations Oversee curriculum implementation, ensuring alignment with our educational philosophies Build strong relationships with families, providing excellent communication and support Promote the childcare within the community Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for staff and children Ensure the highest standards of safety, care, and education are consistently met
Qualifications

ECE Certification (with Infant/Toddler and/or Special Needs an asset) Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a licensed childcare center Strong knowledge of BC childcare licensing regulations Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Passion for early childhood education and dedication to creating a nurturing environment Ability to build relationships with community partners, parents, and staff First Aid & CPR Certification and Clear Criminal Record Check (or willingness to obtain)
