ROLE PURPOSE



To lead the Mission Racquet Centre in Kelowna, BC with excellence across culture, operations, coaching, customer experience, and community engagement--ensuring the club fulfills TCC's Purpose, Vision, Mission, and Values. This role oversees all facets of the club and is ultimately accountable for its success.

CORE LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES



1. CULTURE & PEOPLE LEADERSHIP



Build and reinforce TCC's Purpose, Mission, Vision, Values, and service standards.

Lead all staff: reception (if applicable), coaches and maintenance.

Hire, train, develop, and hold staff accountable.

Ensure safety, compliance, and professionalism.

2. COACHING, PROGRAMMING & PLAYER DEVELOPMENT



Coach all levels and set the standard for lesson quality, aligning with TCC's framework.

Oversee all programs: lessons, social programs, and competitive programs and events.

Mentor coaches and ensure consistent teaching methodology.

Optimize court utilization.

3. OPERATIONS & FACILITY EXCELLENCE



Ensure daily cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the club.

Work with Office Manager on admin and systems execution.

Oversee facility and equipment maintenance.

Implement Project Cornerstone systems.

4. MEMBER EXPERIENCE & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT



Be a visible presence and relationship-builder.

Resolve escalated issues with professionalism.

Foster belonging for all demographics.

Lead school/community outreach and partnerships.

5. BUSINESS PERFORMANCE & ADMINISTRATION



Manage revenue areas and support financial reporting.

Oversee KPI tracking.

Align operations with budget and strategic goals.

Ensure compliance and documentation accuracy.

6. MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS



Maintain newsletters, member updates, and social media.

Promote programs and events.

Ensure consistency with TCC's branding and tone.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE



Within 12 months, the leader has:

Built a high-performing, aligned staff team.

Delivered exceptional member experiences.

Developed thriving junior and adult programs.

Established strong community presence.

Achieved operational and financial targets.

Embedded Project Cornerstone systems for scalable operations.

COMPENSATION



This role includes two primary forms of compensation:

1. SALARY:



Weekly salary of $1,400 for full-time leadership responsibilities

2. COACHING RATE:



Optional coaching up to 10 hours/week; rate to be determined
