ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE



Herschel Supply Co. is seeking a Director of IT to provide both technical and strategic leadership for our IT function. This role is responsible for overseeing IT operations, driving enterprise systems strategy, and leading a high-performing IT team. The ideal candidate will balance hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership to modernize IT architecture, business integrations, and digital infrastructure. This leader will ensure seamless integration across ERP, Shopify, 3PL, PLM, and AWS while driving security, scalability, and automation for our growing business. This role is based in our Vancouver HQ.

### IT Leadership & Strategy


• Develop and execute IT strategy that aligns with business goals for Wholesale and Direct-to-consumer channels.
• Lead and mentor the IT team, including Infrastructure, Business Systems, Integrations, and eCommerce development.
• Drive IT governance, budgeting, and vendor management to ensure cost-effective technology investments.
• Own enterprise IT roadmaps, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency across all business applications.
• Champion IT best practices and innovation, keeping the company ahead of industry trends.

### Enterprise Systems & Integration Architecture


• Architect, optimize and maintain system integrations between ERP, Shopify, 3PL, PLM and Finance systems.
• Lead AWS and cloud strategy, ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-efficient IT infrastructure.
• Automate workflows to improve business efficiency and reduce manual dependencies.
• Ensure seamless system interoperability, enabling real-time data flow between core business applications.

### IT Operations, Security & Compliance


• Oversee IT infrastructure (networking, cloud, cybersecurity, internal systems).
• Implement security best practices to safeguard enterprise data, system access, and compliance.
• Own IT incident management, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Partner with Finance and Legal to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

### Cross-Functional Collaboration


• Work closely with eCommerce, Finance, Operations, Sales and Retail teams to optimize IT services.
• Liaise with vendors and consultants, ensuring effective partnerships for system enhancements.
• Support the digital transformation strategy, enhancing omnichannel capabilities and business agility.


ABOUT YOU


• + Approx. 10+ years of experience in IT leadership, enterprise systems, and digital transformation.
+ Strong technical expertise in ERP (Blue Cherry or similar), Shopify, 3PL, Financial technologies, and PLM integrations.
+ Deep knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure, API-driven architectures, and cybersecurity.
+ Experience leading IT teams, with a proven track record of mentoring and upskilling talent.
+ Strong project management skills, ensuring IT initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.
+ Excellent communication & stakeholder management, translating technical insights into business impact.
+ Proven ability to drive process automation, IT modernization, and system scalability.

YOUR JOURNEY WITH HERSCHEL SUPPLY



The annual salary for this role falls within the range of $120,000 - $160,000.
