Location: For this role we are open to remote work located anywhere within the United States or Canada.About the OpportunityThe Master Data Management & Governance Leader is a highly strategic, analytical, organized, and motivated leader who will lead the build and evolution of MDM service to automate, standardize and improve the quality of service that ensures timely, accurate and trusted data.This role will be responsible for leading the design and build of technical and solution architecture to support data integration needs of MDM for business-critical applications, and build and maintenance of MDM systems, policies, and processes, and monitor data integrity to support organizational goals and initiatives. Master Data Management & Governance leader will be an expert in building Enterprise Data Catalog and have a good understanding of data management principles. In addition, they will collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead the implementation of data integration processes, data mapping, and modeling, ensuring data governance policies are adhered to, and resolve integration issues to maintain high data quality and integrity.What you\'ll get to doStrategic Planning

• Develop and refine the organization\'s MDM strategy and data governance for critical data domains in alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Establish a roadmap for MDM implementation, outlining key milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Develop and lead culture of value creation powered by master data through continuous improvements, automation, standardization to improve overall quality of service.

Technical Leadership

• Lead the selection and implementation of MDM tools, systems, and technologies to support data governance and quality management.
• Assess the current state architecture & understand current business processes for managing and implementing Master Data Management solutions across all business groups.
• Develop and execute a robust integration strategy for MDM systems like Reltio, Atacama, Profisee etc, aligning it with the organization\'s data management objectives and business requirements.
• Plan and coordinate the integration of MDM systems with existing IT infrastructure, applications, and databases, considering data synchronization, transformation, and cleansing requirements.
• Hands-on experience in installation and configuration of core Integration MDM Hub components.
• Lead MDM architecture and define data models, hierarchies and mapping rules, enabling seamless data exchange between MDM systems and various applications.
• Prepare the to-be architecture including data ingestion, data quality rules, data model, match/merge, workflows, UI, batch integration and real-time services.
• Oversee the design and implementation of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) or Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) processes for master data movement and transformation.
• Conduct thorough testing of MDM system integrations to validate data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business requirements.
• Provide subject matter expertise on data architecture and data integration implementations across various downstream systems.
• End-to-End understanding of Data Integration Background working in an agile delivery framework
• Identify and resolve integration issues, data conflicts, and discrepancies, collaborating with technical teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes, data flows, mappings, and configurations for reference and knowledge sharing. Create Design Document and data models addressing business needs for the client MDM environment.
• Contribute to creating reusable assets and accelerators for MDM platforms.
• Monitor the performance of integrated MDM systems and take proactive measures to optimize system efficiency and data processing speed.
• Lead the strategy, build and maintenance of Data products such as Customer 360 and Product 360.

Data Governance

• Establish data ownership and stewardship responsibilities across business units.
• Lead in the development and maintenance of Data Dictionaries, Lineages, and Taxonomy including identification of business-critical metrics and data elements.
• Define and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures for maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and security of master data.
• Familiar with creating policy or guidance documents which promotes the use of the Data Catalog and maximizes data usage for generating business value, all the while respecting Data Governance principles.
• Final design authority for a catalog design to optimally represent customer\'s own data landscape in the Data Catalog
• Collaborate with a team of Business Stewards to ensure data assets are curated to maximize business value to data users.
• Oversee, develop monitor, and measure data quality initiatives and metrics, including data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and stakeholders to understand data requirements, definitions and usage and align MDM initiatives with business needs.
• Partnering with Sales Operations and Go-To-Market team, lead all data related and impacting activities in support of the annual Go-to-Market and Territory planning cycle.
• Partner with the Engineering team to ensure proper controls have been implemented for proactive monitoring of critical product features, availability, and stability.
• In partnership with product leaders, lead the establishment and implementation of customer lifecycle data governance and operating definitions, policies, processes, measures and monitoring to drive accurate and complete data, leveraging external data sources such as D&B, ZoomInfo or the like.

Change Management

• Drive organizational change by promoting MDM best practices, educating stakeholders, and facilitating training programs.
• Oversee the communication of MDM benefits and progress to senior management.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of MDM initiatives.

Vendor Management

• Manage relationships with MDM solution vendors, ensuring contract compliance and maximizing the value of vendor partnerships.

Team Leadership

• Lead and manage a team of MDM professionals, including analysts, stewards, and engineers.
• Function as a \xe2\x80\x9cProduct Leader\xe2\x80\x9d for leading and managing the MDM and Data Governance initiatives.

Skills and experiences we value

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in MDM and Data governance or related Data & Analytics field.
• 8+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a leadership role.
• 3+ Experience with SAFe agile development processes
• 5 \xe2\x80\x93 8 years of hands-on experience in MDM systems integration, data integration, data governance systems, with a proven track record of successful project implementations involving MDM platforms such as Informatica, Reltio, Atacama etc.
• Experience building and maintaining a data catalog and maintaining platform such as Alation or Collibra.
• Proficiency in data integration technologies, ETL/ELT processes, data mapping tools, and MDM platforms like Reltio, Informatica MDM, Atacama, or similar.
• Excellent debugging and trouble-shooting skills, and persistence in problem solving.
• General understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL tools
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and data stewardship practices.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate integration projects effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders and convey complex concepts in a clear manner.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
