OUR TEAM: The position is part of the Vaccines Industrial Strategy Team in Industrial Affairs. The Vaccines Industrial Strategy Team is responsible to translate the GBU ambition, products, and markets, into IA strategies including life cycle management and next generation manufacturing. You will have the opportunity to work closely with all sites and functions within VIA, as well as interact with R&D, ComOps, and Global IA. You will gain experience with multiple types of projects, programs and governance at various levels of the organization, consequently expanding your network. You will have the opportunity to develop your ability to present at all levels of the organization, and gain exposure. Job Highlights: The role is to lead the development, endorsement, and delivery of the Industrial strategy in the accordance with the GBU Influenza and RSV franchises.

  • Develop the industrial footprints for new vaccines as well as for existing franchise vaccines for industrial stages seeds/cells to finished goods in cooperation with the CMC, MTech, Quality Operations, Regulatory, Finance, and Franchise teams.
  • Lead the prioritization of projects for each product portfolio in accordance with the GBU strategy for new vaccines as well as for the life cycle management of existing vaccines to maintain markets or to develop market expansion.
  • Drive product performance, optimization of the gross margin, the COGS of the products, the industrial performance of the sites through the defined strategy and by leading the Industrial Product Group.
  • Sponsor the Convergence Plans and its global execution; Co-lead with MTECH cluster head to ensure an efficient life cycle management approach
  • Responsible to support GIPL in identification of the Influenza strains in vaccine composition for NH and SH campaigns as well as responsible TTM/VTM Influenza campaign strategy
  • Is a member or the Leader of a Product alert / Crisis Team, when the issue is impacting the future of the product / portfolio, Sanofi or partner’s image
  • Represent IA in the franchise team and represents the franchise to IA; Communicates with the franchise teams on the progress of projects, assesses the impacts of timelines in terms of sales, BOI.
SOFT SKILLS:
  • Demonstrated leadership in both technical and strategic aspects of the role, and track record of professional development.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including presentation skills. Experience making presentations to senior management is strongly desired.
  • Understanding of the industrial environment of the pharmaceutical industry, demonstrated integrity on work-related compliance considerations and solid ethics.
  • Entrepreneurial, team spirit and ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Highly proficient in managing by influence
Basic Qualifications
  • MBA with a Bachelors Degree in Biotechnology, Engineering, Science.
  • 10+ Years industrial experience in a Vaccine business with management of complex projects/program in a matrix organization.
Preferred Qualification:
  • Advanced degree
  • Business Acumen, proficient in business case development including financial elements.
  • Project leadership, management, budget management and management experience.
LANGUAGES:
  • English at fluent level written and verbal
