This client is based in Canada, with sites around the world, and will be 90% Work from Home, with 10% travel required. Candidate should be in Canada, close to an airport.

General:

• Become the primary point of contact for HSE requirements and activities for the account. Communicate HSE needs and results to the Account Leadership Team.
• Play a lead role in the continued development and refinement of JLL\xe2\x80\x99s HSSE culture and training programs on the account.
• The candidate will require an executive presence to liaise with client representatives on HSSE matters.

Compliance:

• Liaise with applicable regulators as required
• Research and monitor regulatory standards, developments, and industry best practices, relating to environmental matters and advise as applicable, and maintain regulatory library
• Oversee Hazardous Materials Management Inventory system implementation and maintenance
• Oversee documentation for submission to regulatory bodies; including but not limited to halocarbon release reports, PCB destruction reports, and spill response reports to federal and provincial regulatory agencies.
• Notify the client of any communication, inspections, or orders from regulatory bodies that pertain to client properties
• Manage client-facing account HSSE programs, including designated substance program and indoor air quality program
• Support environmental compliance efforts as specified in the JLL/client Master Service Agreement (MSA)/Statement of Work (SOW).
• Support the HSSE Americas team in rolling out new compliance and best management practices programs across the account (and occasionally support JLL-wide HSSE activities).
• Prepare / Update all monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements on HSE aspects and activities to the client
• Support incident investigations, creation of root cause analysis, and corrective action planning. Provide reporting to appropriate stakeholders.
• Oversee development the account training matrix; manage and assign the on-line training requirements; and provide training/presentations as needed on specific topics applicable to the account employees.

People Management:

• Manage tasks and duties assigned to reporting personnel
• Provide review and feedback on performance
• Manage use of leave for personnel
• Work with Account Management to ensure sufficient resource allocation and task assignment to personnel, where applicable\xe2\x80\x8b
