In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. The Director is responsible for the delivery of high-quality, accessible, and sustainable client-and-family-centered care across home and community care, palliative care, continuing care homes, palliative care and geriatric services. In collaboration with medical leadership and integrated health teams, the Director oversees home and community care and facility-based continuing care in Grande Prairie and surrounding rural communities. Key responsibilities include developing site-specific plans, deploying resources effectively, fostering continuous improvement, and building strong partnerships with North Zone sites and provincial programs. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the Director develops and evaluates strategies aligned with Assisted Living Alberta's mission and client needs, while collaborating with other Directors, Care Managers, Program and Service Leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated, effective service delivery. The Director reports to the Zone Leader, North, Clinical Delivery and Operations.
