JOB PURPOSE: McCain is on a digital transformation journey and we are seeking a creative, courageous and data-driven individual to help shape and realize our vision for Finance. The primary purpose of this leadership role is to own how Finance Digital Technologies and Analytics will enable global business performance and profitable growth decision-making. This role is responsible for driving how dynamic financial information, analysis and planning processes, can be improved using digital and data strategies/technology. This role will be the Finance lead shaping the analytics performance roadmap in Finance, partnering with technology, global and regional Finance teams. The role will set and own the global standard for transforming financial data into business performance information for decision-making. In this role, the incumbent will serve as Finance Business partner to Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Agriculture functions to provide data analysis and insights, and recommend action plans to maximize the bottom line, leveraging diverse data sources.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify opportunities for descriptive and advanced analytics to drive profitability, provide financial understanding and direction to our business
• Manage the development and sustainment of Profitability, Costing and Financial Planning models, analytical reporting, scorecards and dashboards
• Set strategy and roadmap for how Digital Technologies, Financial Data and Analytics will be leveraged by Global and Regional Finance teams at McCain to enable rich financial information
• Promote and drive the use of data and adoption of data analytics to Global and Regional teams to inform business decisions
• Guide the continuous improvement of FP&A, Management Reporting and Profitability Analysis solutions in OneStream, SAP PaPM and SAP Analytics Cloud
• Elevate and promote the use of SAP ERP, Management Reporting, Financial Planning Tools (OneStream, SAC, PaPM) and Analytics and their application with regional teams and key stakeholders, including c-level executives
• Leverage diverse data sources to provide regular analytics insights, reporting and actionable recommendations to the FLT and other key stakeholders
• Work in partnership with Finance, Technology and Data & Analytics teams locally and globally.

KEY PRIORITIES:

• 
  Drive continuous improvement strategy for finance to modernize how financial data information is used in a dynamic setting for business decision making
  • Simplify the current reporting processes to leverage more technology.
  • Identify opportunities to utilize existing and new data sources to identify relevant trends and propose actionable recommendations
  • Prioritize key reports and analysis that are essential to driving insight for profitable growth
  • Develop dashboards and reports that offer new insights and track metrics relevant to business performance
  • Work with Technology team to rapidly scale, modernize and automate reporting tools
  • extract from big data the meaningful trend, and propose actionable recommendations
  • Support user training and promote use of data and adoption of
  • Build a backlog of new reports and dashboards to accelerate manual reporting activities, or provide necessary data to key business decision makers

• 
  Implementation of Digital Technologies and Business Processes
  • Collaborate with Technology, Global and Regional Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, HR and external implementation partners to ensure a globally aligned and efficient continuous improvement of finance performance management needs
  • Liaise and translate the regional McCain team\xe2\x80\x99s requirements and expectations

• Business partnership
  • Strategic financial partner to Commercial, Marketing, Manufacturing, Agriculture functions
  • Provide insights about opportunities to maximize revenue, minimize cost and increase operational efficiency to drive the bottom line
  • Accountable for identifying decisions worth making with data, framing them (including defining metrics and key assumptions), and proposing actionable recommendations

  Simplification of the reporting/budgeting processes by leveraging more technology
• Implementation and adoption of best practice Finance processes and Digital Technology
• Transformation of how we utilize data science and analysis at McCain Foods
• Team Engagement (both at corporate level and regional level)

KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree, CPA (preferred)
• 5-7 years working with data to drive decision making and strategy; with a demonstrated history of driving transformational change in a large, global organization
• Experience in translating data use cases, requirements to Data Science/IT teams and translating results into insights for the business
• A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
• Knowledge and expertise in SAP Finance modules and tools and how they integrate with Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing and Logistics processes
• Strong awareness of data best practices and what\xe2\x80\x99s possible with rich data
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build compelling narratives with data
• Experience with requirement analysis (interviewing, facilitation, gap analysis, data analysis, business process mapping, user interface design and mock-up)
• A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
• Experience implementing best practice Finance business processes and driving new, innovative internal concepts or products to completion
• Effective project management skills
• Minimum three years of experience working with Financial Planning, BI and data visualization tools (e.g., OneStream, SAC and Power BI strongly preferred)
• Experience in food industry, CPG or manufacturing, ideally in the Finance function
