OVERVIEW

The McCain Agriculture function is in a period of significant transformation and change, necessitated by unprecedented pressures from climate disruption on farming communities. To support Growers and their businesses, McCain is making transformation investments in Digital, Data & Analytics, and Regenerative Agriculture to build an industry-leading foundation of tools and technologies. These new capabilities require important changes to our ways of working, roles and skills in our teams, and new mindsets. This is an ambitious change agenda and one that needs an experienced, future-looking, and inspiring leader to help us realize the return on our investments. This is the role of the Director, Global Agriculture Digital Transformation.

JOB PURPOSE:

Working with the Chief Agriculture Officer and the Global Agriculture Leadership Team, the Director, Global Agriculture Digital Transformation will drive the transformation of McCain\'s Agriculture business processes and capabilities, aligned with McCain\'s new technology and data & analytics platforms. The Director will partner with Regional Agriculture leaders to understand current state of business practices, complete a gap analysis vs target state practices, and lead a change journey to transform our processes. The Director will work with the Global HR business partner to define new roles, new capabilities and new organizational models to accelerate this change. And, finally, the Director will partner with the Digital Agriculture team to define a continuous innovation roadmap of enhancements to our digital tools and accelerated roll out of existing digital tools to drive common, global processes.

To accomplish this work, the Director will have a team of experienced Product Owners to define and shape digital tools that accomplish our goals to support Growers with industry-leading capabilities, while improving McCain\'s internal business processes. The Director will lead this global team with confidence, humility and inspiration.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define target state business processes across a range of McCain internal business processes including Grower Management, Contracting management, Agronomy, Seed Development and Storage Management
• Shape an ambitious roadmap for each of the digital tools in the Global Agriculture digital portfolio
• Understand the ambition for Data & Analytics and Regenerative Agriculture and ensure digital tools support data collection to meet the objectives of these teams
• Partner with Regional Agriculture leaders to understand current state business practices and perform gap analytics vs. target state
• Working with Regional Agriculture leaders to develop a 3-5 year change journey for each region, considering gap analysis and tools\' capabilities
• Share Transformation strategy and plans with senior stakeholders, including Global Agriculture Leadership Team, and members of McCain\'s Senior Leadership Team and Board as required
• Ensure benefits tracking for McCain investments in Digital and Data & Analytics tools
• Capability building: serve as a coach to Regional Agriculture leaders on how to leverage digital tools in their businesses and especially how to drive business impact

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL SHOW:

• Demonstrated history of driving change in a large, global organization; strong preference for digital transformation leadership
• Knowledge and experience working with digital tools data to drive decision making; can speak with experience about how digital tools transformed their career and business decisions
• Strong awareness of digital best practices and what\'s possible with Technology in Agriculture
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build a compelling vision of the future
• Ability to frame and complete a high-level business case as part of driving change
• Have a \xe2\x80\x9cget things done\xe2\x80\x9d attitude. This role is about inspiring change, but also working with the team to deliver tangible outputs that support the Regional Agriculture Leaders and the team
• Excellent leadership and team development; experience leading a geographically dispersed team is an asset

KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:

• Project Management: defining and shaping your own agenda

• Experience with managing and influencing executive-level audiences, including meeting facilitation, hypothesis generation and delivering conclusions
• A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion end-to-end
• Change Management

• Comfortable working with business stakeholders across a range of experience
• Able to establish a case for change and \xe2\x80\x9csell\xe2\x80\x9d an idea; comfortable challenging the status quo and suggesting alternative business processes inspired with data and technology
• Able to explain digital journey concepts in a way that is approachable and compelling
• Leadership Experience

• At least 10 years in roles of increasing experience and scope
• Experienced people leader with strong influencing skills for lateral relationships
• Experienced change and transformation leader
• Nice to have: At least 5 years of experience in Ag leadership roles
