As the Director, Frontline, Insurance and Business Banking, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of reporting solutions in support of the strategic and tactical priorities of Personal and Business Banking (PBB). Using combined business, technical, and data focused background, you will utilize a team of experts to transform numbers and data into meaningful insights via reports (PowerBI, databricks, SAS EG), dashboards (Tableau), and self-serve analytical tools (Thoughtspot).At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Share knowledge and collaborate to come up with effective solutions to problems.Align \xe2\x80\x93 Find ways to standardize KPIs and Reporting across product lines to promote the concept of \xe2\x80\x9cOne Team\xe2\x80\x9d.Visualize - Think outside the box to determine how to effectively communicate results while balancing consistency standards across all product within the Secure Lending.Develop \xe2\x80\x93 Implement new and innovative ways of evaluating performance so our key business partners can better identify drivers of efficiency, profitability, and performance.Optimize \xe2\x80\x93 Streamline existing performance reporting solutions and processes to improve overall efficiency and reduce \xe2\x80\x9ctime to delivery\xe2\x80\x9d.Automate \xe2\x80\x93 Identify opportunities to reduce manual efforts in order to deliver more accurate/consistent output while gaining an increase in workload capacity.Balance \xe2\x80\x93 Promote a balance between self-serve data and analytics against standardized reporting across products within a reliable and fully accessible reporting portal.Organize \xe2\x80\x93 Partner with technology groups to effectively structure and organize our master data so that it can be utilized effectively.Who You AreYou can demonstrate experience. In data analytics and/or data science. Personal & Business Banking (PBB) line of business experience in the banking sector. Proficiency with SAS, Python, PowerBI, Tableau, SQL. 1+ years of people leadership experience leading and managing a team.You can demonstrate knowledge. Understanding and working knowledge of product and systems such as business banking, insurance, and banking front-line systems.You give meaning to data.
