Director Corporate Finance
Location: Suite 300, 1060 Manhattan Drive, Kelowna, BC
Reports to: The Managing Director, and the President & CEOArgus Properties Ltd.

Argus has an exciting opportunity available for the Director of Corporate Finance, who will lead and manage all our financial activities, including financing, property acquisitions and developments, financial planning, and asset management. This is a unique growth position that will involve overseeing treasury functions, support development and other deal structures, and provide leadership and mentorship to the finance and accounting team. This individual will also have strong industry connections in the equity & debt markets.About You:
You are a seasoned senior finance professional with a proven track record of supporting complex financial transactions and projects in the real estate industry. You are a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills. You can balance multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. As a team leader, you work effectively with internal and external stakeholders across various functions and levels. You are a capable mentor and can develop a high-performing team. You are passionate about our industry and share our values of innovation, integrity, and excellence.Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other financial partners.
• Proven track record in negotiating and securing financing for acquisitions and development projects.
• Proven track record in traditional banking & financial transactions.
• Support our real estate and development teams by assessing and evaluating opportunities for acquisition and development and assisting with deal structures.
• Develop and implement innovative deal structures to optimize financial performance.
• Oversee treasury functions, develop policies and procedures, manage financial risks, and ensure the highest rate of return.
• Oversee the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Provide strategic insights and key recommendations to the senior leadership.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the finance department, providing leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities within the finance team.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and operation of financial metrics and internal controls to ensure accurate reporting and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• CPA designation or equivalent.
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in finance, accounting, or relevant post-secondary education.
• Ten plus years of experience in senior finance, with a focus on development, construction, and hospitality.

Salary Range:
$170,000 - $220,000Bonus:
