This role will focus on Anthem's Management Platform; a leading real estate investment and management company, responsible for driving the successful execution of Anthem's diverse real estate strategies. As a sophisticated and dynamic platform, Anthem's Management Platform requires dedicated financial expertise and operational excellence to support its continued growth and ensure the effective management of its real estate investments.




You will





Financial Reporting


Accountable for month-end close process across all management companies Review all fee agreements, ensuring timely collection of fees in accordance with terms Review payroll, chargebacks and intercompany allocations Prepare monthly reporting packages to provide senior management with key insights on AMP performance, cash flow availability/requirements and budgetary changes Review trust reconciliation and reporting to ensure compliance with BC Financial Services Authority Work closely with Treasury to ensure cash and working capital reconcile




Budgeting & Forecasting


Develop and lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process Partner with team leaders to gather inputs and challenge assumptions Maintain financial models that support scenario planning and cash flow forecasting Manage quarterly re-forecasting to reflect business performance, evolving market conditions and changes to company strategy.




Systems and Process Improvement


Lead the design, adoption, and enhancement of the planning & budgeting system, focusing on data governance and automation improvements. Implement and maintain financial systems and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Actively identify and implement efficiencies to improve current planning and reporting processes. Drive process improvement initiatives to optimize financial operations.




Financial Analysis


Provide insightful analysis of company's performance by business unit, team, and geography Analyze key metrics such as utilization, realization, billing efficiency, and margins Track performance against budget and explain key variances Conduct in-depth financial and operational analysis that enable business planning and align departments to company goals. Collaborate cross-functionally with team leaders to align financial planning with operational goals.




Team Leadership


Provide ongoing management, feedback, and training to ensure high engagement and retention levels. Monitor key deliverables ensuring the successful and timely execution of team roles and responsibilities. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement



You have





Experience working within high volume corporate and/or financial reporting for a large, complex organization, and CPA designation A deep understanding of business drivers and are adept at translating corporate strategy into robust financial models and actionable insights. You can effectively communicate complex financial concepts to executive leadership and the board, influencing key decisions. You are meticulous in your analysis, leveraging data at every turn to build comprehensive and adaptable financial models. You are skilled in identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and you consistently provide data-backed recommendations. You take full ownership of the financial planning and forecasting processes, anticipating needs and proactively seeking out continuous process improvements. You thrive on exceeding expectations and holding yourself accountable for high-quality deliverables. You excel at cross-functional collaboration, partnering effectively with various departments and senior stakeholders to align financial goals with operational objectives. You are a strong communicator who can foster a culture of accountability and drive results across the organization. Strong understanding of ASPE and IFRS, experience with REALpac (an asset) Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with Yardi Excellent written and verbal communication skills Great people skills, able to relate well to others and state your case Real Estate industry experience (an asset)

Salary:




$150,000.00 - $180,000.00, based on experience.
