What is the opportunity?

In this leadership role, you will enhance RBC\xe2\x80\x99s brand and reputation as a global thought leader by driving effective integration and delivery of RBC\xe2\x80\x99s positioning on key issues that impact business and society. Success in this role will be measured by:

Ability to build, measure and retain external audiences, through a variety of RBC and non-RBC channels

Oversee end to end project management and content amplification strategy to disseminate research and thought leadership across Economics and the RBC Climate Action Institute

Work with RBC Brand and Marketing, and RBC citizenship, as well lines of business, to inform and amplify the company\xe2\x80\x99s position on key public issues

What will you do?

Orchestrate and manage the successful production and end-to-end project management and execution of a highly integrated thought leadership plan across various channels and audiences

Partner with economists and researchers to set strategy, approach and project plans for research and thought leadership

Develop marketing and content amplifications strategies, including digital, for thought leadership both internally and externally across channels and audiences

Oversee production and lead team to ensure digital best practices and strategic deployment of content (design, publishing)

Act as the key liaison with internal stakeholders, external resource groups, Senior Leaders and SME on publication initiatives and deliverables.

Develop processes, tools and best practices

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a content strategy integration role or advisor in the marketing strategy, communications, publishing, or production space

Exceptional writing and interpersonal skills

Ability to synthesize information, see issues from a variety of perspectives, develop an action plan and execute to completion in a deadline driven environment

Strong track record of leading and executing deliverables through multiple communication channels

Strategic and agile combined with the ability to navigate through a large, complex and matrixed organization

Nice-to-have

Previous experience in a large, global leading Financial Institution or consulting firm

Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications and/or Advertising

Campaign/events experience
