Job Title Director, Communications




































Director, Communications Are you an exceptional storyteller with a desire to ignite and inspire your audience? At CAE Group, we have an exciting opportunity for a Director, Communications to elevate our communications efforts into storytelling that drives awareness, engagement, and action. Drawing on your expertise and enthusiasm for communication, you\'ll create an integrated program focusing on thought leadership development, strategic visioning and employee advocacy. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing spearheading forward-thinking communications strategies for our global network of stakeholders. You will lead a team of communications professionals and work closely with internal stakeholders to tell the CAE Group story through various channels including executive communications, employee communications, and social media. You will support transformational strategic initiatives that enhance employee engagement and raise the bar for our communications strategies to capitalize on industry-leading momentum to achieve key business objectives.   • Build awareness. You will design and execute internal communications campaigns to increase awareness and excitement of our business strategies, performance, and brand positioning.
  • Oversee communications efforts. You will lead messaging and stories, including corporate and executive communications, to develop internal communications strategies to connect employees across CAE Group and RBC.
  • Be a creative voice. You will develop high-quality written content as needed, including thought leadership, leader communications, internal social media platforms, email, videos, intranet and events. You will regularly create and pitch story ideas, aligning CAE group activities with the needs and profiles of key channels.
  • Ignite and inspire. You will strengthen CAE Group\xe2\x80\x99s brand and culture by driving robust multi-channel communications initiatives. Leverage your keen storytelling ability to make message and tactics make sense with different audiences, roles, and levels. Create impact on global initiatives - big and small - from conception through to launch and ongoing optimization.
  • Engage and evolve. Drive employee engagement through employee opinion surveys, leadership meetings, initiatives to support diversity & inclusion, etc.
What do you need to succeed? Must have
  • Communications, Marketing, or Journalism degree
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in executive, internal, or employee communications with global, remote, and fast-paced organizations
  • Proven planning, writing, editing, and material production experience (e.g., newsletters, town halls, presentations, speeches, conferences, videos, websites) and experience with/knowledge of social media content and community management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distill and translate complex concepts across diverse audiences.
