The Company and The Role

Our client is an industry leader in real estate construction financing and supports builders and developers across Ontario and British Columbia. The organization has strong roots in the KWC region and has built a solid reputation for delivering strong and stable returns for its lenders. Due to growth, they are building bench strength in their business development team with the addition of a Director, Business Development. As a true hunter, you will develop a sales pipeline of qualified real estate developers who are looking to finance transformative value-added projects which include residential condos as well as mixed-use development projects. You will leverage your strong relationship-building skills to deliver suitable risk-adjusted lending opportunities that match lender investment mandates.

What makes you a fit:

• 5 years of commercial lending experience coupled with a degree in finance, business, or accounting
• Driven and passionate to achieve targets and corporate objectives
• Highly skilled in analyzing borrower\'s financials (cashflows, valuations, capital structure, risk profile, and cost comparables)
• Excellent business development and consultative selling skills
