What is the Opportunity

Reporting to the Vice-President, Client Partnerships - Institutional Markets, you will provide guidance and support to the client partnership and business development team, while overseeing all customer service activities, including the production of supporting documents and materials.

What you will do

• You will work closely with the Vice-President in planning and implementing an action plan for our institutional client sector;
• You will provide a high level of service to customers and managers in order to deliver a superior customer experience
• You participate in and coordinate business development with the various institutions in order to properly serve the target clientele;
• You develop and improve the management of processes and workflows under your responsibility, and ensure regular follow-up with the teams involved;
• You collaborate on the completion and success of projects under your responsibility in order to maximize targeted business results and guarantee customer satisfaction;
• You build partnerships and maintain business relationships with various internal and external stakeholders;
• You ensure the quality of communications and other materials that contribute to the firm\'s positioning within the industry.

What you will need to succeed

Experience and Knowledge

• You have a university degree in actuarial science, business administration (finance concentration) or a related field;
• You have eight (8) to ten (10) years\' experience in a similar role in the finance industry;
• You hold (or are in the process of obtaining) the CFA designation and meet the requirements to be registered as a portfolio manager;
• You have an excellent command of the Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
• You have extensive experience in customer relations and business development, and a demonstrated talent for communication and relationship management;
• Experience with pension plans and/or insurance companies would be an asset.

• You have a marked talent for interacting with different hierarchical levels and for developing new relationships;
• You demonstrate leadership, rigor and organizational skills, as well as a talent for analysis and synthesis;
• You are disciplined, and have a sense of initiative, aiming to exceed business targets;
• You have the ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines, while maintaining a high level of professionalism;
• You are available for occasional business travel;
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English due to frequent interactions with customers across Canada and with colleagues in Ontario and Saskatchewan;
• For Montreal, knowledge of French is a requirement.
