A Director at Barracuda is detail-oriented, takes initiative, and is a leader for their team. The ideal candidate to join our team will be an experienced, influential leader who can manage business analysts and their initiatives across disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. They will be capable of working remotely with global teams to guide, plan, and implement improvements throughout the project lifecycle.

The Director is a key liaison between IT and business stakeholders. The Director partners with the stakeholders to define processes & workflows, identify areas for improvement or reengineering and develop business requirements. With the partnership of the Business Analysis Team the Director will work translate business requirements into technical design specifications. The Director will also work with business and technology teams to translate business needs and opportunities into program solutions and utilize their change management expertise to drive successful release and adoption of those solutions. The Director will proactively seek opportunities to streamline and simplify business processes through the use of technology as well as their expertise in go-to-market applications.

A successful candidate has deep experience in creating documentation, workflows, and working with a wide variety of business units ranging from sales & marketing to legal to finance. The ideal candidate has experience working with go to market organizations within a software company and strong working knowledge of the Salesforce platform.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be working on

• Collaborate with team members to drive system enhancement efforts to completion by capturing and assessing user requirements with business partners and providing configuration, development, and application support to the teams enabling enhanced productivity, reporting capabilities, and collaboration
• You will partner with the business stakeholders to understand the organizational GTM strategies, listen and observe business needs and concerns
• You will collaboratively define problems and ideate in problem-solving through research and development, experimentation, prototyping, and build new features and capabilities that are easy to use and solve business problems effectively
• You will partner with business stakeholders to build a long-term strategy and roadmap for our business systems that supports our evolving business i.e. define areas of focus, proactively manage priorities and the feature backlog to ensure the team is solving the right problems and align with organizational priorities
• Support efforts to grow the platform through new applications and technology as needed
• Workload management across the BSA team, including prioritization, scheduling, setting expectations, mediation and work with multiple stakeholders across the Enterprise
• Supervise/manage/direct the selection, training, development, appraisal and work assignments of personnel. Include mentoring, goal setting, performance assessment and constructive feedback to team members

What you bring to the role

• BS degree in Computer Science, Business Management or other related field
• 10+ years of overall experience including 5+ years of managing a team
• 5+ domain experience in Salesforce CRM, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud & CPQ, Quote-To-Cash, and Salesforce platform implementations in the SaaS domain
• Willingness to lead & author business requirements, solution design for projects, enhancements, etc
• An architecture mindset when proposing design options to business & engineering teams
• Good understanding of Quote-To-Order and Lead-To-Cash processes
• Good understanding of product structures (bundles, standalone), product configurations, product pricing, and quote management
• Hands-on experience managing complete end-to-end implementations
• Be a thought leader, self- motivated and committed to high quality outcomes
• Excellent business acumen
• Exceptional skills in people/team management
• Exceptional communication skills across mediums
