Job Summary

The Director, Biopharma Data Solutions, will be responsible for developing and executing McKesson's data solutions for brand and generic manufacturers and for strengthening relationships with key manufacturer stakeholders. The incumbent will work with customer leads from across our manufacturer-facing businesses in identifying business opportunities, building a data product strategy and develop data solutions to meet those opportunities. They will work with the key business and functional stakeholders, including from Business Data Strategy and Analytics, Technology, CSBD etc. to further advance their business.

Specific Responsibilities

Sell suite of data solutions and ad-hoc data requests that meet biopharma customer needs, across brand and market

Perform as a solution provider to the business by understanding business needs and implementation technology solutions

Identify future business reports, self-serve research capabilities and dashboards that can further enhance McKesson's data solutions

Provide thought leadership in use of metrics used across Marketing, Product, Customer Care, Finance and Business Analytics

Ensure operational effectiveness in performance, uptime, release management, storage and data security for all supported data systems.

Key Requirements

At a minimum, possesses a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a related field

7-10 years' experience in a similar role

Has deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, specifically as it relates to its data and insight needs

Is innovative, strategic and possesses strong executive presence

Track record of building growth businesses in a complex environment

Strong leadership skills and experience developing high performing teams

Pro-active innovator who takes calculated risks to implement new ideas and creates a culture of collaboration

Adheres to the highest ethical and professional standards

Bilingualism (English/French) an asset
