En tant que leader local des fonctions Personnes et Culture pour l'equipe canadienne, vous serez responsable de batir, developper et retenir des equipes performantes alignees sur notre mission et nos valeurs.
Vous etes un leader chevronne avec une solide experience dans la gestion des talents et la culture organisationnelle, et un historique eprouve en matiere de leadership strategique dans les fonctions RH.
Responsabilites
Leadership strategique en ressources humaines
Amelioration strategique : Identifier et mettre en oeuvre des initiatives strategiques pour optimiser les processus RH, la planification des ressources, la formation et la priorisation des projets cles.
Strategie RH : Developper et executer des strategies RH alignees sur les objectifs d'affaires, avec un accent sur l'acquisition de talents, la retention et l'excellence operationnelle.
Gestion budgetaire : Collaborer avec l'equipe Finance pour assurer la gestion et l'optimisation des budgets RH, et preparer la planification budgetaire future afin de gerer efficacement les ressources du departement Personnes et Culture.
Experience employe
Engagement des employes : Developper et gerer les programmes de remuneration et d'avantages sociaux, incluant la gestion des salaires, la negociation et la performance.
Concevoir et deployer des strategies favorisant la collaboration, l'innovation et des cheminements de carriere bases sur le merite, afin de soutenir un milieu de travail motivant et inclusif.
Operations RH
Developpement de politiques : Creer et mettre a jour les politiques et procedures RH afin d'assurer leur conformite avec les lois et les meilleures pratiques du secteur.
Cycle de vie des employes : Superviser de maniere strategique l'ensemble du cycle de vie des employes (acquisition de talents, gestion de la performance, departs) pour garantir des pratiques coherentes, equitables et conformes aux objectifs organisationnels.
Coaching et soutien
Relations avec les employes : Agir comme conseiller strategique aupres de la direction et des gestionnaires sur les enjeux lies a la performance, a l'engagement et a l'efficacite organisationnelle.
Gestion des talents : Developper et optimiser les programmes de reconnaissance et de recompense. Fournir une orientation strategique a partir des donnees issues des entrevues d'embauche, de retention et de depart.
Mesures et rapports
Indicateurs RH : Definir, analyser et presenter des indicateurs cles de performance RH afin de soutenir la prise de decision et orienter les strategies futures.
Veille strategique et industrie
Developpement professionnel : Rester informe des tendances et des meilleures pratiques RH en participant a des conferences, en suivant des formations continues, et en entretenant un reseau professionnel actif.
Competences / qualifications requises
Minimum de 10 ans d'experience progressive en RH, dont au moins 5 ans dans un role de leadership (p. ex. HRBP, Directeurtrice, Responsable ou Cheffe des ressources humaines) au Canada et aux Etats-Unis.
Capacite eprouvee a developper et executer des strategies RH alignees sur les objectifs organisationnels, incluant la gestion du changement, la planification de la main-d'oeuvre et le developpement des talents.
Experience pratique des operations RH : recrutement, integration, gestion de la performance, conformite legale et implantation de systemes RH (HRIS).
Solide expertise en gestion de la remuneration, des avantages sociaux, des budgets, ainsi que des indicateurs et KPI RH pour orienter la prise de decision.
Excellente comprehension des lois du travail pertinentes, tant au niveau federal que provincial, avec une experience particuliere au Quebec fortement souhaitee.
Experience en relations avec les employes, coaching et developpement d'une culture organisationnelle forte, avec un engagement ferme envers l'equite, la diversite et l'inclusion.
Experience demontree dans le leadership et le mentorat d'equipes RH dans des contextes de croissance et de transformation organisationnelle.
Parfaitement bilingue (anglais/francais), avec des competences exceptionnelles en communication orale et ecrite dans les deux langues.
Competences / qualifications prefere
Experience confirmee dans des environnements de startups ou d'entreprises financees par capital-risque.
Experience dans la gestion d'une grande main-d'oeuvre horaire non syndiquee.
Certification professionnelle en ressources humaines (p. ex. CRHA).
Connaissance des outils tels que Rippling, ADP, Lattice, Slack, Notion, Lever et Google Suite.

Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership:
Strategic Improvement: Identify and implement strategic improvements to the HR department, including process improvement, resource planning, training, and prioritizing key initiatives.
HR Strategy: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives, focusing on recruiting, retention, and HR operations.
Budget management: Partner with Finance to ensure all HR budgets are managed and met and provide additional budget planning preparation for the future to effectively manage People & Culture resources.
Employee Experience:
Employee Engagement: Manage and scale the company's compensation model and benefits programs, including salary negotiations, benefits administration and performance management.
Develop and implement strategies to increase innovative thought, teamwork, and merit-based career pathing within the organization, ensuring an engaging workplace.
HR Operations:
Policy Development: Create and update HR policies, procedures, and guidelines as needed. Ensure compliance with legal standards and industry best practices.
Employee Lifecycle Management: Provide strategic oversight of the full employee lifecycle (including talent acquisition, performance management, and offboarding) ensuring consistent, equitable, and compliance practices that support organizational goals.
Coaching and Support:
Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and people managers on performance management, employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
Talent Management: Implement new and enhance existing staff recognition and rewards programs. Participate in interview processes, including new hires, stay and exit interviews.
Metrics and Reporting:
HR Metrics: Prepare and analyze HR metrics, providing reports that support decision-making in specified areas. Use data to inform HR strategies and improvements.
Industry Engagement:
Professional Development: Keep abreast of industry knowledge and trends by participating in conferences and educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining professional networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Skills / Qualifications Required
10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role (e.g. HRBP, Senior Manager, Head of or Director of People) across Canada and the US.
Proven ability to develop and execute HR strategies aligned to business goals, including organizational change management, workforce planning, talent development, and employee engagement.
Hands-on experience with HR operations (recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compliance, and HRIS implementation).
Strong track record managing compensation, benefits, budgets, and HR metrics/KPIs to inform decision-making.
Strong understanding of relevant HR legislation, federal and local employment laws, and workplace best practices in both Canada and the US (Quebec experience preferred).
Expertise in employee relations, coaching, and culture-building, with commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Experience leading and mentoring HR teams through growth and organizational change.
Fluently bilingual ( English/French), proficient in verbal and written communications in both languages.
Skills / Qualifications Preferred
Proven track record with other startups or VC funded companies.
Experience with a large non-exempt hourly workforce.
Human Resources Professional Certification (e.g., CRHA).

Compensation
In alignment with our values, Circle Medical has transparent salaries based on output levels, and options to trade cash for stock. This is a full-time, salaried position with an annual salary range of $140,560 to $175,700 CAD.
