Sous la responsabilit\xc3\xa9 du Directeur assurance qualit\xc3\xa9 studio, le titulaire du poste est responsable de la supervision des \xc3\xa9quipes d\'assurance qualit\xc3\xa9 sur le ou les projets qu\'il supervise. Il s\'assure de planifier et d\'encadrer l\'assurance qualit\xc3\xa9 sur ses projets selon les standards de qualit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa9tablis et r\xc3\xa9pondant aux attentes de nos partenaires. Il guide ses \xc3\xa9quipes vers les choix les mieux adapt\xc3\xa9s aux besoins du jeu et facilite le partage ainsi que la r\xc3\xa9utilisation des processus, outils et fonctionnalit\xc3\xa9s d\xc3\xa9velopp\xc3\xa9s entre les divers projets pour les optimiser. Il travaille \xc3\xa9troitement avec l\'\xc3\xa9quipe de direction du projet et participe, avec le directeur assurance qualit\xc3\xa9 studio, au d\xc3\xa9veloppement de sa communaut\xc3\xa9 m\xc3\xa9tier.

Ce qui comblera tes journ\xc3\xa9es :

  • Participer, en collaboration avec le directeur assurance qualit\xc3\xa9 studio et les autres directeurs assurance qualit\xc3\xa9, \xc3\xa0 la d\xc3\xa9finition des standards de qualit\xc3\xa9 de Frima et en assurer l\'implantation;
  • D\xc3\xa9terminer les strat\xc3\xa9gies de test les plus appropri\xc3\xa9es et les plans d\'action, en collaboration avec les autres membres de la direction de la production, afin d\'atteindre les r\xc3\xa9sultats qualitatifs d\xc3\xa9sir\xc3\xa9s, en tenant compte des contraintes inh\xc3\xa9rentes aux projets;
  • Agir \xc3\xa0 titre de mentor et de coach aupr\xc3\xa8s de son \xc3\xa9quipe projet et son \xc3\xa9quipe m\xc3\xa9tier en assurance qualit\xc3\xa9;
  • Agir \xc3\xa0 titre d\'expert conseil et de personne-ressource pour r\xc3\xa9soudre les probl\xc3\xa9matiques rencontr\xc3\xa9es sur les projets;
  • Effectuer le suivi des \xc3\xa9ch\xc3\xa9anciers des projets afin d\'assurer la livraison dans les temps requis;
  • Collaborer \xc3\xa0 l\'identification des am\xc3\xa9liorations requises et assurer une communication efficace des solutions aupr\xc3\xa8s des \xc3\xa9quipes;
  • Participer, en collaboration avec le directeur assurance qualit\xc3\xa9 studio, \xc3\xa0 la vision et au plan de d\xc3\xa9veloppement strat\xc3\xa9gique de sa communaut\xc3\xa9 m\xc3\xa9tier;
  • Mobiliser, superviser et soutenir les membres de son \xc3\xa9quipe tout au long du cycle de vie de l\'employ\xc3\xa9 (recrutement, accueil et int\xc3\xa9gration, gestion et d\xc3\xa9veloppement des talents, gestion de la performance) en adoptant une gestion favorisant une exp\xc3\xa9rience employ\xc3\xa9e de qualit\xc3\xa9;
  • Accueillir et encourager le partage d\'information, les discussions d\'\xc3\xa9quipe et favoriser un environnement cr\xc3\xa9atif et productif;
  • D\xc3\xa9finir, en collaboration avec le Lead assurance qualit\xc3\xa9, la gestion du calendrier des projets qu\'il supervise ainsi qu\'\xc3\xa0 la planification des ressources;
  • Participer aux appels avec les clients lorsque requis;
  • Faire une vigie des bonnes pratiques m\xc3\xa9tiers afin d\'assurer l\'efficacit\xc3\xa9 organisationnelle de sa direction par la mise en place des bonnes pratiques, processus et outils;
  • Soutenir, lorsque requis, l\'\xc3\xa9quipe du d\xc3\xa9veloppement des affaires et l\'\xc3\xa9quipe cr\xc3\xa9ative dans le processus des propositions de vente (pitchs) lorsque l\'expertise est requise et collaborer \xc3\xa0 l\'identification des \xc3\xa9quipes de d\xc3\xa9veloppement selon les comp\xc3\xa9tences identifi\xc3\xa9es;
  • Assurer une communication efficace avec les partenaires externes tout en apportant son expertise et son r\xc3\xb4le-conseil aupr\xc3\xa8s de ceux-ci ainsi qu\'\xc3\xa0 l\'\xc3\xa9quipe de d\xc3\xa9veloppement des affaires.

  • Dipl\xc3\xb4me coll\xc3\xa9gial (DEC) dans un domaine pertinent. Une combinaison d\'exp\xc3\xa9riences et scolarit\xc3\xa9s jug\xc3\xa9e \xc3\xa9quivalente pourra \xc3\xaatre consid\xc3\xa9r\xc3\xa9e;
  • Minimum de dix (10) ans d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience pertinente dans l\'industrie du jeu vid\xc3\xa9o dont cinq (5) ans en tant que leadership d\'\xc3\xa9quipe;
  • Tr\xc3\xa8s bonnes connaissances th\xc3\xa9oriques et pratiques des diff\xc3\xa9rents types et plateformes de jeux ainsi que des \xc3\xa9tapes li\xc3\xa9es \xc3\xa0 la cr\xc3\xa9ation d\'un jeu;
  • Bonne connaissance de Jira;
  • Bonnes connaissances techniques des consoles et des exigences des manufacturiers (un atout important);
  • Connaissance de base en programmation (un atout);
  • Excellente ma\xc3\xaetrise de la langue fran\xc3\xa7aise et anglaise (\xc3\xa0 l\'oral et \xc3\xa0 l\'\xc3\xa9crit).

Overview:

Reporting to the Studio Quality Assurance Manager, the incumbent is responsible for supervising the quality assurance teams on the project(s) he supervises. He plans and supervises the quality assurance on his projects according to the established quality standards and meets the expectations of our partners. He guides his teams towards the choices best adapted to the needs of the game and facilitates the sharing and reuse of processes, tools and functionalities developed between the various projects to optimize them. He works closely with the project management team and participates, along with the studio quality assurance manager, in the development of its business community.

What will fill your days:
  • Participate in the definition of Frima\'s quality standards in collaboration with the Studio Quality Assurance Manager and other Quality Assurance Managers and ensure their implementation;
  • Determine the most appropriate testing strategies and action plans, in collaboration with other members of the production management team, in order to achieve the desired quality results, taking into account the inherent constraints of the projects;
  • Act as a mentor and coach to his/her project team and business team in quality assurance;
  • Act as an expert advisor and resource person to resolve problems encountered on projects;
  • Follow up on project schedules to ensure timely delivery;
  • Collaborate in the identification of required improvements and ensure effective communication of solutions to the teams;
  • Participate, in collaboration with the Studio Quality Assurance Manager, in the vision and strategic development plan of the business community;
  • Mobilize, supervise and support team members throughout the employee life cycle (recruitment, onboarding, talent management and development, performance management) by adopting a management style that promotes a quality employee experience;
  • Welcome and encourage information sharing, team discussions and foster a creative and productive environment;
  • Define, in collaboration with the Quality Assurance Lead, the management of the project schedule and resource planning;
  • Participate in calls with clients when required;
  • Monitor good business practices to ensure organizational effectiveness of its management by implementing good practices, processes and tools;
  • Support, when required, the business development team and the creative team in the sales proposal process (pitch) when expertise is required and collaborate in the identification of development teams according to the skills identified;
  • Ensure effective communication with external partners while providing expertise and advice to them and to the business development team.
Your profile looks like this:
  • College diploma (DEC) in a relevant field. A combination of experience and education deemed equivalent may be considered;
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in the video game industry, including five (5) years as a team leader;
  • Very good theoretical and practical knowledge of the different types and platforms of games as well as the steps involved in creating a game;
  • Good knowledge of Jira;
  • Good technical knowledge of consoles and manufacturers\' requirements (an important asset);
  • Basic knowledge of programming (an asset);
  • Excellent command of the French and English languages (oral and written).
