Looking for a Local Parks Lover

I am looking for someone who has an interest in the outdoors, who enjoys staying fit and finding active places in the community.

You will be joining my team to assist me within my family home and my community. I am a sociable, caring and sensitive 59-year-old man labelled with an intellectual disability.

This is a full-time permanent position for up to 35 hours/week. Includes day, evening and some weekend support. Males preferred. Physical assistance and personal care involved. Pay based on former experience.

Required:

A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clean drivers abstract--full class G driver's license.

Vulnerable person's check. (can be obtained)

Preferred:

A post-secondary diploma/degree or equivalent education

Experience with people who use some sign language and have been labelled as having an intellectual disability, would be an asset.
