The Village of Wentworth Heights, located in Hamilton Ontario has an exciting opportunity for a DINING ROOM SUPERVISOR to join their Retirement Team.

Shift Details: Work every second weekend and potential for rotational on-call

As a Dining Room Supervisor, you will:
  • Hold a Diploma or Degree from a recognized institution in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Lead and support a team of servers with hands-on training, coaching and leadership while assisting the Director of Hospitality with shift scheduling and supervision
  • Current Food Handlers Certificate and Smart Serve certification
  • Supervise the dining room, answering all requests professionally while putting excellent customer service first, ensuring a seamless mealtime experience
  • Use your creative flare for meal delivery, creative food preparation and presentation along with their passion for exceptional customer service to plan, organize and manage special events
  • Have 2-3 years of previous experience in a leadership role
It would be an asset if our new Dining Room Supervisor has:
  • Knowledge of the nutritional needs of seniors
  • Previous experience working in an Long-Term Care or Retirement setting
