THE OPPORTUNITY
Aritzia is growing and our Digital Technology team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the Quality and Service Delivery team and lead the SRE team responsible for continuously improving digital technology solutions. You will also participate in hands-on support work, ensure timely queue management, facilitate deeply analytical post-mortems, and close the loop with data-backed corrective and preventive actions, fostering a customer-centric, learning-oriented culture where data informs priorities. Success in this role means measurable reductions in recurring issues, faster time-to-resolution, and clear, actionable insights flowing back to the team. You will partner with the broader Digital Technology team including developers, QA, as well as other cross-functional teams and stakeholders. THE ROLE
As the Sr Manager/Manager, SRE, you will lead the team to:
Deploy features that unlock business and technology value.
Ensure the continuous health and performance of features.
Minimize the impact of disruptions within features.
Identify and address underlying issues and prevent recurring incidents.
Empower developers by providing them with tools and platforms to support their work.
Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The Sr Manager/Manager, SRE has:
5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles
3+ years of experience in a leadership or management role.
Establishing the practice of DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, and incident lifecycle that includes L1/L2/L3.
Hands-on experience with modern observability tools and standards (e.g. OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, ELK, etc).
Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Go, Bash, etc.).
Strong understanding of alerting strategies, telemetry pipelines, and distributed tracing.
Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Microservices)
Background in software engineering or full-stack development.
Excellent communication skills
THE COMPENSATION
The typical hiring range for this position is $120,000-$170,000 per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
