We have a
four-month
co-op opportunity available to work with our Digital Technology team. In this role, you will assist our Digital Technology team in various computer programming/analyst activities as Raytheon ELCAN continues to grow.
About Raytheon ELCAN:
Located about 50 kilometres north of Barrie, the Town of Midland offers a perfect blend of urban amenities and natural beauty nestled on the shores of Georgian Bay, making it an ideal place to work, grow, and belong.
Primary Responsibilities:
Providing Tier1 Technical support for Information Systems and devices
Assembling configuring/upgrading PCs and peripherals
Installation of operating systems
Loading of application software
Troubleshooting PC issues
Organizing and managing asset inventories
Network cable termination and port configuration
User management in Windows Active Directory
Logical data access management
Work closely with Digital Technology team on projects
Perform other DT-related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience:
Enrolment in Co-op College or Degree in Information Technology or related field
Working knowledge of computer hardware and Windows operating systems
Understanding of key networking concepts
Experience working within a Microsoft Office environment including knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Excellent time management and technical data management skills
Highly effective communications skills
Proven ability to solve technical problems and make sound decisions
Highly motivated with a demonstrated positive attitude
Willingness to learn and acquire knowledge/understanding through study, instruction or experience
