We're looking for a Digital Strategist with a strong focus on YouTube strategy, channel growth, and media management to help our clients maximize reach, engagement, and measurable ROI across digital platforms.
The Role
As the Digital Strategist, you'll be the bridge between creative vision and performance outcomes. You'll develop platform-specific strategies -- especially for YouTube -- that drive audience growth, optimize content performance, and integrate with broader paid, owned, and earned media initiatives.
You'll collaborate with producers, creative directors, editors, project managers and account managers to shape video campaigns from concept through to analytics, ensuring that each creative decision ladders up to a clear digital objective.
Key Responsibilities
YouTube Strategy & Channel Management
Develop and execute channel strategies for client and agency YouTube accounts (content pillars, cadence, audience growth, and SEO optimization).
Conduct keyword and competitive analysis to optimize video titles, descriptions, thumbnails, and tags.
Manage upload schedules, playlists, community engagement, and A/B testing of creative assets.
Monitor analytics to identify trends and recommend actionable insights to increase watch time and conversions.
Collaborate with creative and production teams to align storytelling and optimization goals.
Media Management & Performance Marketing
Plan, manage, and optimize paid media campaigns across YouTube, Meta, LinkedIn, and Google Ads.
Track performance metrics (CTR, CPM, CPC, conversions) and adjust strategies to maximize ROI.
Develop and manage media budgets, calendars, and reporting dashboards.
Collaborate with account managers to present campaign insights and recommendations to clients.
Content & Audience Strategy
Advise on content themes, storytelling approaches, and tone tailored to target audiences.
Create strategic briefs outlining platform opportunities, trends, and KPIs.
Support cross-platform initiatives, ensuring consistent brand presence across digital touchpoints.
Qualifications
3-5+ years of experience in digital strategy, performance marketing, or media management (agency experience preferred).
Proven track record of managing and growing YouTube channels or paid video campaigns.
Strong understanding of YouTube Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and digital KPIs.
Working knowledge of SEO for video, A/B testing, and performance dashboards (Google Data Studio, etc.).
Excellent communication and presentation skills -- able to translate data into actionable insights.
Passion for storytelling, emerging media, and how creative content performs online.
Additional
Experience in video production, editing, or creative direction.
Certifications in Google Ads / YouTube Ads.
Experience with SalesForce, Sprout Social, or other campaign management tools.
Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive content strategies.
