We are seeking an integrated digital strategist: someone who is both creative and analytical, with a passion for digital marketing, data and content creation. You should understand the business needs of our clients, the creative ways we tell their stories, and how to connect it all via smart and integrated customer journeys. You should be equally comfortable building a plan and presentation, as you would be dissecting metrics and defining benchmarks. And you should feel at ease engaging with a range of stakeholders (both internal and client) to facilitate their input and feedback in order to successfully complete your projects.

Publicis Toronto is seeking an Integrated Digital Strategist:

  • Minimum five years of experience in advertising/marketing/media/communications (preferably in an agency or creative environment, but not required)
  • Works well in a fast-paced, collaborative, and multi-discipline environment (digital, social, content, creative, advertising, analytics, web/mobile, and media production)
  • Client-facing on a major automotive account
  • Responsible for leading the strategic planning of customer journey-based digital campaigns and communications in alignment with key stakeholders
  • Close collaboration with account management, media planning, creative teams, and content production teams
  • Aptitude and enthusiasm for data-driven marketing is essential
Responsibilities:
  • Lead digital-specific projects and campaigns, primarily focused on integrated customer journeys
  • Develop digital customer journeys that integrate both content and advertising, illustrating how all tactics build upon each other to convert customers, including measurement plans
  • Be a leading internal expert on customer journeys, helping to define and share best practices
  • Participate and contribute to long-term digital strategic planning for our clients and their brands, identifying opportunities for solutions and innovation
  • Speak and present confidently to clients about strategic recommendations, and share knowledge with clients and colleagues to help define agency best practices
  • Gather insights to inform digital strategy, including social listening, consumer behavior research, data inputs, desk research, and platform usage
  • Work with account and creative teams to expand on briefs and campaign ideas with digital and social tactics that deliver against client objectives
  • Work with content production teams from the brief to execution stages, actively driving the process forward
  • Collaborate with a full range of internal resources, from web development to direct marketing, brand development, social content, video production and more
  • Collaborate with inter-agency partners and vendors; seek out new prospective vendors and external solution when needed
  • Foster relationships with leading digital and social platforms (Google, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, etc.) to ensure we\xe2\x80\x99re connected to new capabilities and opportunities
  • Stay ahead of all emerging media, technology and platforms in the digital and social space to ensure we are leveraging new tactics and ideas in the optimal manner
  • Fluency in French and experience in the Quebec market is an asset, but not a requirement
