Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Digital Signage Program Installation Project Manager to lead the deployment of a large national convenience store program. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of all facets of digital signage installation, from initial planning to a successful project delivery.

You'll be responsible for managing and ensuring the timely completion of the project, while coordinating all resources, establishing accountability with installation partners, ensuring the highest quality standards are adhered to, and reporting project status to all stakeholders. This is a hands-on role that requires a keen eye for detail and a comprehensive knowledge of the technology involved.

Key Responsibilities

Program Management: Lead the end-to-end deployment of large-scale national digital signage programs, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Installation Partner Management: Manage and coordinate a network of third-party installation partners, ensuring they adhere to project specifications and quality standards.

Technical Oversight: Provide hands-on technical guidance and support to installation teams. This includes a thorough understanding of screen mounts, power requirements, cable management, and media player/PC installation.

Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure every installation meets our high standards for aesthetics, functionality, and reliability.

Technology Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert on various digital signage technologies, including screen technologies (Samsung, LG), PCs/media players, switches and CMS software (Broadsign Control).

Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve technical and logistical issues that arise during the installation process, ensuring minimal disruption to the program rollout.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including installation checklists, progress reports, and close-out documents.

Experience & Qualifications

Extensive Experience: Proven experience as a Project Manager in the digital signage or related AV/IT industry, with a track record of successfully deploying large-scale national programs.

Relevant Experience:Direct hands-on experience with the physical installation of digital signage, including:

Mounting screens and ensuring proper placement and alignment. Managing power requirements and low-voltage wiring. Implementing best practices for cable management to ensure a clean, professional finish. Configuring and troubleshooting media players and PCs (Windows, Linux, Android). Networking components and ensuring reliable connectivity for the signage network.

Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of digital signage hardware and software, including:

Screen Technologies: Samsung, LG, and other commercial displays. CMS Software: Broadsign Control, BrightSign, and similar platforms. Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, Android.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail with an unwavering commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage external partners and internal stakeholders.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex technical issues in the field.

Certifications (Preferred)

Project Management: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from PMI.

Digital Signage:

Digital Signage Certified Expert (DSCE) Digital Signage Display Expert (DSDE) Digital Signage Network Expert (DSNE)

AV/IT:

Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) CompTIA A+ or Network+

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
