As a Manager, you\xe2\x80\x99ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Directly support procurement transformations to drive cost reductions, identify process efficiency opportunities, improve performance and capabilities or performance, or implement relevant technology solutions as required (ie: Ariba, Coupa\xe2\x80\xa6etc)
Lead the delivery of large engagements from initial assessment and business case to full implementation and value creation.
Lead and coach delivery teams in conducting detailed analyses, leveraging digital tools, preparing client and executive presentations, preparing procurement documents
Deliver category management implementation engagements
Advise clients on leading practices, insights and trends across the Procurement function in various industries, leveraging the PwC\xe2\x80\x99s global network experience
Guide blended consulting/client teams from initial assessment to implementation and continuous improvement
Manage engagement risk and project economics including planning and budgeting
Develop and nurture trusted relationships with stakeholders and key clients
Contribute to pursuits and proposal development, including supporting the development of innovative approaches and methodologies
Collaborate with PwC colleagues across other operating units and lines of services globally to \xe2\x80\x9cwin as one\xe2\x80\x9d and develop unique solutions to service our clients\xe2\x80\x99 needs
Directly support leadership team through contribution to sales pursuits and other client relationship activities and strategy development on new and emerging technologies and practices
Support the development and delivery of training and share knowledge from across the global network with our team
Plan and execute regular Digital Procurement practice-wide meetings and status calls, and other team events
Coach, develop and share knowledge from across PwC\xe2\x80\x99s global network with our team; and actively participate in staff recruitment activities.
Experiences and skills you\xe2\x80\x99ll use to solve
Working experience in a procurement function preferably within a consulting environment
Proven leader with ability to build solid and collaborative relationships with team members, foster a productive teamwork environment
Hands-on procurement experience related to:
Spend Management and analytics
Category Management (including strategic sourcing for direct & indirect categories)
Contract vehicle structuring and comprehension
Procurement function transformation (including Operating Model transformation)
Supplier Management, value chain risk management
Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance( ESG)
Agile procurement techniques and leading practices
Exposure to contracting and demand planning methodologies
Highly capable to prepare and/or coordinate complex or comprehensive written and visual materials
Analytical mindset, and experience using data processing and dashboarding tools (e.g. Excel, Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
High level of professional integrity, a commitment to teamwork, and enthusiasm to motivate others
Creative thinking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
PMP, SCMP/SCMA, CIPS, CPSM, CSCP or other relevant procurement/supply chain certifications are considered an asset
Familiarity with using and deploying procurement/ERP technology solutions (e.g. SAP, SalesForce, Workday, etc.) is considered an asset
Bilingual proficiency in French and English is considered an asset
