Digital Media & Operations Lead (contract)

Join Best Buy Ads as our digital media operations lead and you will play a key role in our rapidly growing retail media network. With a focus on programmatic revenue and ad operations, you will oversee the planning, optimization, and monetization of our Onsite Display Program. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue and performance, while ensuring flawless execution for brand partners.
We are currently hiring for a 14-month fixed-term opportunity with our Best Buy Ads team.
In this role, the successful candidate is needed to be in the greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you'll do as a digital media operations lead:Lead the team responsible for onsite display ad operations, including sprint planning and work prioritization, coaching, training and process improvement Actively work on media planning, campaign set up and performance optimizations for top advertisers and their agencies Responsible for meeting monthly onsite programmatic revenue budgets Develop and implement strategies to maximize yield and inventory utilization Prepare monthly program performance and business insights to support ongoing program enhancement Key point of contact for Google, Index Exchange, OpenX, and other DSPs/SSPs Responsible for developing and maintaining detailed forecasting models to match supply and demand and ensure ad relevance Collaborate with Product Development on all releases and the development of SOPs to operationalize new products, placements and capabilities Manage Onsite inventory CPMs and pricing rules Test and implement advanced ad targeting strategies, leveraging Google Ad Manager (GAM) and Best Buy's audience capabilities

What we're looking for:5+ years of progressive digital media planning & buying experience, including programmatic display, Retail Media and/or DSP/SSP Extensive experience in programmatic advertising, forecasting, media planning, and campaign performance Hands-on experience using Google Marketing Platforms (GAM 360, GA 360, DV360) Moderate to advanced excel skills

Annualized base pay range
$80,000.00 - $85,000.00
Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
