Responsibilities:
Serve as a customer-facing digital media advisor responsible for building and facilitating online marketing initiatives for Sherwin-Williams' Residential Repaint customers. These actions should result in brand awareness, customer loyalty and increase sales opportunities by fostering online reputation management. Working to create consumer engagement and social sharing that will enhance overall customer experience for the end user.
Digital Platform responsibilities include but are not limited to; Customer Advertising Consulting, Customer Web Design, Social Media Enhancement (Instagram, Facebook, Google Reviews, LinkedIn, Tik Tok, etc.)
Assist with social media community management across all past customers and social channels, responding to inquiries, comments and mentions in a timely manner, while keeping brand voice consistent.
Work with analytics to provide customer insight and actionable items for continual improvement and to adapt to the constant changing environment of our Residential Repaint customers online presence.
Manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
Additional responsibilities will include planning, creative, development and coordination of branded social media and digital properties to support our professional customers audience across Canada.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required:
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in business, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, English, Journalism or related fields.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Required:
1-2 years' experience in a online marketing position.
Fluent in and passionate about online communities such as Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Twitter, Pinterest, Youtube, Google and additional/new digital platforms as they emerge.
Interest and knowledge of social media marketing, reputation & community management and industry trends.
Excellent organization skills, with an ability to adhere to strict deadlines and prioritize multiple duties that are assigned simultaneously. Self-sufficiency is key in this role.
Must be a strong written and verbal communicator in English. French language knowledge would be an added benefit.
Preferred:
Experience working on Sherwin-Williams customer service team or retail location.
Cross functional experience with SEO, paid media, sales, branding, internal communications, and/or public relations.
Customer service experience.
Familiar with copy writing and editing.
Social Management tool experience.
TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
Microsoft Office Suite
Canva
Preferred:
Experience with Store reviews and review aggregator platform.
Familiar with Google Analytics and all native social publishing and analytics platforms
Adobe Creative Suite
Familiar with social publishing platforms.
Bilingual in French would be an asset.
