Job Description


One of our banking clients is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist- Must have Banking exp.
Length: 7 months Contract with high possibility of extension or conversion to perm
Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid- once per week, This could be increased in the upcoming months
Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm
Line of business: CMS (Content management), all lending product lines and supports DMs (Different managers)
Working hours: 9AM-5PM

Role Mandate:

Working with the Digital Manager and Senior Manager, the Digital Specialist role is responsible for providing support in delivering strategies and tactical plans that align with broader digital, corporate and brand marketing strategies for various LOBs and working with different managers.

Role Responsibilities:

\xc2\xbb Working with all LOBs to execute on strategic plans for the online experience
\xc2\xbb Work with all LOB groups to maximize online opportunities and to ensure customer and business needs are being met.
\xc2\xbb Ensure all programs are aligned with the digital enterprise metrics strategy.
\xc2\xbb Execute strategic plans for acquiring and retaining online customers
\xc2\xbb Collaborate with the various internal teams to create initiatives designed to meet customer retention and acquisition metrics.
\xc2\xbb Report, analyze and providing insights for all Online tools, Websites and Digital Marketing campaigns
\xc2\xbb Team with Digital Manager and Senior Manager to ensure that all initiatives and projects are aligned to digital strategy.
\xc2\xbb Closely liaison with internal business groups to ensure digital campaign deliverables map back to overall communication strategy
\xc2\xbb Develop plans to evaluate effectiveness of initiatives.
\xc2\xbb Design innovative project ideas that drive customer retention and acquisition.
\xc2\xbb Work with all Digital Managers to maximize online assets
\xc2\xbb Develop strong working relationship with LOBs to maximize up-sell/cross-sell opportunities across the enterprise

Must Have Skills:

  • Good technical/project management skills and an understanding of the customer experience
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast paced and challenging environment
  • Strong organizational, time management and presentation skills
  • Proven professional and interpersonal communication skills
  • Digital experience (1 year minimum)
  • Must be a quick learner and Tech Saavy
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Partner management and negotiation skills would be considered an asset
  • Financial Field experience in a similar capacity
