What responsibilities will you have in this role?

  • Works with internal stakeholders to understand priorities and expected campaign outcomes.
  • Provides recommendations for strategic execution of digital advertising, social media, and direct marketing campaigns.
  • Evaluates and determines appropriate digital advertising platforms for internally managed marketing initiatives.
  • Plans, develops, obtains approval of, and manages the implementation of content that meets the ongoing digital marketing needs to support the prospective student journey from awareness through applying and becoming a current student.
  • Develops persuasive and engaging written and visual assets for our digital campaigns and touchpoints, including landing pages, email programs, online advertising, and more.
  • Coordinates with other digital content creators and contractors to provide updates to written and visual content.
  • Oversees the implementation of real-time changes content during active ad campaigns.
  • Manages the process of social media communications from content creation, approval, programming, and reporting.
  • Creates and executes social media calendars, including for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other channels as required.
  • Develops content for social platforms to drive engagement from the community.
  • Experiments with post types, frequency and targeting to maximize reach, engagement, and community size.
  • Manages aspects of our social media accounts, including posting, design requests, and comment moderation.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
What qualifications do you need for this role?
  • Three year diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in digital marketing, e-marketing, social media marketing or equivalent.
  • Pardot Specialist, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist or Hoot Suite Specialist are required.
  • Minimum three years advanced knowledge of and experience working with digital engagement platforms including, Pardot and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Cloud and Landing Pages, email (including Automation Studio and Journey Builder), and Social Studio. With a minimum of two years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a digital marketing support position.
  • Experience in other digital marketing tools and platforms as well as CRM (Constituent Relationship Management), marketing automation integration, Adobe Photoshop and image editing. Experience in predictive intelligence modelling is an asset.
  • Working knowledge and experience with HTML, CSS and SQL code.
  • Experience with collaborative projects and cross-functional teams is preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Strong client service leadership, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills; research and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, coordinating and time-management skills; detail oriented, results driven and collaborative orientation.
  • Effective ability to interact with others and deal with situations in ways that respect diverse backgrounds, experience and styles.
  • Flexibility in adapting to change and in participating in consultative decision-making processes.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9:00 am \xe2\x80\x93 5:00 pm.
Interview process may consist of a practical skills component.
