Digital Marketing Manager \xe2\x80\x93 The ideal candidate will be a strategic, creative, and analytical digital marketer with 7+ years of experience in digital marketing. They are a data-driven, hands-on marketer with a track record of managing budgets and achieving performance goals across the digital ecosystem. Knowledge and Skills:
  • Microsoft Suite: MS Office, MS Teams etc.
  • CRM Platforms: Salesforce/Salesforce Marketing Cloud (others: Microsoft Dynamics, ZOHO, HubSpot etc.).
  • Extended knowledge of social media platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc.
  • Experience in working within email/marketing automation software: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Constant Contact, MailChimp, etc.
  • Experience working within different CMS platforms (WordPress, WooCommerce, HubSpot, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Defines and develops digital marketing strategy in line with the sales strategy and our various brands, includes studying economic indicators, tracking changes in supply and demand, identifying customers/target audiences and their current and future needs, and monitoring the competition.
  • Plans and is able to execute all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Oversee the flawless execution of social media posts and social media ads. Work with team to develop rigorous A/B tests. Analyze results with team and make changes in content to drive conversions.
  • Contributes to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed.
  • Measures and reports performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs), reporting on results and providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Identifies trends and insights and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
  • Plans, executes, and measures experiments and conversion tests.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.
  • Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Identifies critical conversion points, drop off points, and optimizes user funnels.
  • Completes digital marketing department operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
  • Lead and coach direct reports in support of company\xe2\x80\x99s goal.
  • Managing team member administration (performance review, goals setting, appraisals etc.)
  • Maintains digital marketing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees (including counseling, disciplining, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results).
  • Develops digital marketing staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.
  • Establish long-term digital marketing strategy/vision and apply it across all social media platforms.
  • Identify and evaluate need for alternative channel marketing initiatives.
  • Employ sophisticated data analytics/tools to create reports that will be used to optimize and improve the company\xe2\x80\x99s digital marketing performance.
  • Set up the attribution model and measurement for the multi-channel marketing activities of the company (integrating both paid and unpaid activities).
  • Conduct regular digital and competitive audits to assess and monitor competitive performance and benchmark versus company performance.
  • Ensure all promotions are on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice.
  • Oversee team\xe2\x80\x99s workflow, ensuring timelines on projects are met.
  • Create organizational tools (checklists for content, templates, gated porta for assets, etc.).
  • Lead special initiatives (ex: provide creative direction, video production, digital/website initiatives etc.).
  • Facilitate live webinars, virtual sessions/meetings (including in-person).
  • Developing, implementing, and managing digital budgets and timelines.
  • Create and/or process invoices/purchase orders.
Virtual Trade Show Management
  • Work with vendor to build virtual presence.
  • Manage all pre- and post-show promotions, campaigns, sponsorship activity.
  • Record all customer and third-party show contracts.
  • Track budgets and schedules.
  • Capturing customer leads and list management (grow CRM).
  • Work with Marketing, Sales, and Communications teams.
  • Coordinating show specials, featured products, banners, graphics and content.
  • Loading all content to virtual CMS platforms.
  • Create and/or receive purchase orders related to Sales & Marketing.
  • Coordinating all promotional/swag/apparel items for giveaways.
  • Create design briefs and liaise with graphic designer to complete design tasks.
  • Prepare PowerPoint/Prezi presentations as required.
  • Communicate with external clients as required.
  • Facilitate webinars, virtual sessions/meetings (including in-person).
Other
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team across North America to collect market insight and report on competitor activity.
  • Any other duties as requested by management.
  • Ability to travel as required.
Desired Characteristics and Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience driving customer acquisition through digital marketing (agency or in-house).
  • Good technical/project management skills and an understanding of the customer experience.
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast paced and challenging environment.
  • Experience working across all digital channels including paid social and paid search prospecting and retargeting platforms, SEM, affiliates, email, and SEO.
  • Intimate experience managing campaigns to achieve specific KPIs, such as CPA, new customer acquisition and retention goals, and lifetime value.
  • Comfortable diving into data analytics and debriefing on key consumer messaging.
  • A strong storyteller with the ability to develop interesting campaigns.
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical, communication and team-building skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management and presentation skills.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in digital marketing/marketing or a related field.
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the building products industry (not essential).
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, SEMRush, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools.
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • Hands-on knowledge of CRM platforms (Saleforce (vital), Microsoft Dynamics etc. and marketing automation platforms).
Salary and Benefits
  • The salary range for this position is $75,000-$80,000 CAD per year and will depend on the qualifications and experience of the applicant.
