Midland Transport Limited has become a leader in the transportation industry by providing Superior Quality Service to our customers. Our services include Truckload, Less Than Truckload, Courier Services, and Third-Party Logistics/ Brokerage which provide the convenience of one-stop shipping.

Midland is currently seeking a Student Digital Coordinator reporting to the Digital Creative Lead. The Student Digital Coordinator will support Midlands current digital marketing initiatives including a web build project.

The successful candidate will be an initiative-taking individual with a can do attitude, an excellent communicator and will thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Degree or Diploma program with a concentration in Marketing or Advertising or related Business field.
• Experience working with social media and other promotional platforms to manage content and analyze results.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Creative thinker and problem solver.
• Knowledge of digital marketing technologies and related software platforms including CMS.
• Experience in Graphic design and design software an asset.

Key responsibilities:

• Contribute as a Student Web editor in on ongoing web build project.
• Assist with Midlands content calendar for all digital web/social media platforms.
• Assist with editing and optimizing content across all platforms including digital and traditional while ensuring brand consistency and adherence to our brand standard guidelines.
• Support digital analytics and support optimization of SEO.
• Help to coordinate marketing events and digital product launches.
• Assist to manage regular communication, alerts and contacts made via web and social media sites.
