The Manager, Digital Enablement, Global Digital Acceleration, collaborates with team leaders, vendors, and other key stakeholders to plan training delivery timelines, goals, and milestones. You will oversse and report on training data and understand why training metrics are meaningful in the organization. The Manager, Digital Enablement develops and drives communication strategies to reach target audiences to promote digital transformation training programs and is involved in curriculum development, execution and refinement in the areas of Digital Product Management, Agile Transformation, Personalization and Digital Adoption.This is a hybrid role within an international team, based out of our Toronto office.Responsibilities/Key Accountabilities:

  • Improve an organization-wide learning approach that crafts Global Digital Acceleration initiatives, and the way it\xe2\x80\x99s applied in a team, portfolio and enterprise context
  • Contribute to ongoing, iterative development of learning and training strategies, including innovative ways of identifying specific training needs, refining programs and measuring impact
  • Help drive learning initiatives past common in-class training experiences to multi-faceted facilitation and elevation tactics, empowering learners themselves to identify relevant content and co-create learning communities of practice
  • Collaborate closely with Manulife\xe2\x80\x99s internal HCD, UX and AI capacities for coordinated initiatives to further develop new ways of working
  • Provide first and second level support for learning program participants before, during and after training sessions; Improve customer experience
  • Assist Business Unit leaders identify the accurate training for their teams; customize training plans as needed; Curate training communications with an executive-facing tone
  • Collect and manage training related data on various tools such as Survey Monkey, MS Forms, JIRA, Power BI, Compass, Pursuit; generate NPS scoring for all training deliveries
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and schedule delivery timelines, goals, and achievements; assemble cohorts for training sessions
  • Co-facilitate training sessions and events, i.e. facilitating modules or entire trainings, running breakout rooms, use tools such as Mural, MS Teams, Slido, MS Forms, polls, word clouds, live Q&As etc.
  • Coordinate and support development and testing of e-learning modules and other training materials, in collaboration with subject matter authorities
  • Collate and maintain lists of training candidates and their leaders; outreach to leaders to acquire prioritized lists of candidates per Business Unit / Segment
  • Facilitate communication between project collaborators, including team members, senior leaders, and vendors
  • Participate in the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and delivery plans
  • Connect with other learning leaders in all segments of the organization and with the Global Learning team to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration
  • Perform administrative tasks within Learning BAU for the Global Digital Acceleration team
  • Assist Learning program alumni with ongoing training and community related offerings
  • Track training progress and report on a monthly cadence to senior management
Job Requirements:
  • 5+ years of crafting, facilitating and continuously improving training programs, preferably in a large, global organization
  • 5+ years experience in working in an Agile or Digital Transformation environment
  • Degree in Training/Education, HR, Organizational Management, Communication, or equivalent
  • Excellent understanding of Customer Centricity approaches and attitude
  • Engaging presentation skills, adept written and verbal communication are a must
  • Experience with Executive-facing communication and presentation
  • Affinity for and some experience with Large Language Models and Generative AI
  • Strong PC skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Experience in banking or financial planning is a strong asset
