Digital (E-Commerce) Merchandiser - TreeTime.ca
Location: Edmonton Status: Full-time (40/week)
Reports to: Inventory Manager Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

As the Digital Merchandiser, you will report to, and assist the Inventory Manager with planning, organizing, and merchandising the inventory so it is visible and presentable on TreeTime.ca for online sales (9 months/year). During peak times, assist Order Desk Team with customer service and support desk tickets (3 months/year). We are a seasonal business. Day-to-day work and workloads vary significantly over the course of the year.
Primary Responsibilities: Assist and Support Inventory Management and Tracking (7 months/year)

• category management
• demand projections and forecasting
  
• updates and reconciliation of inventory into the system
• nursery tours to ensure inventory is on track and scheduled, and thus maximize availability

E-Commerce Store set up in the Fall (2 months/year)

• accurate item receipt and entry into the system
• new item set up; researching, capturing, and entering into the database prior to the sales season start date
  
• improve systems and tools to help with this

Customer Support (3 months/year)

• Assist Order Desk Team during peak Seasons:
  • Phone Calls/Emails (November, May-June)
  • Support Tickets (June)

• Regular high attention to detail for the majority of your time

• Highly competent with technology. Familiar with or ability to learn
  • Google Workspace (GMail, Google Meets, Google Docs)
  • Spreadsheets and databases (formatting, math, and logic)
  • FreshSales/FreshDesk CRM
• Driver\xe2\x80\x99s license an asset
• Hands-on when needed
• Understands trees, shrubs, and their handling, customer service

We\'re looking for a detail-oriented individual that is comfortable with math, logic, spreadsheets, and inventory tracking. You must be a very strong communicator and collaborator. Ideally, we\'re looking for someone who knows about trees and shrubs for shelterbelts and for fruits and berries but we can provide the opportunity to learn more too. To master this job, you will need strong customer service skills to match customers up with the practices that keep their plants alive and thriving. The job requires significant use of technology and computers to do the job at the expected level.
