Digital Counsellor

Permanent Full Time - Fully Remote

Summary:

Reporting to the Regional Clinical Manager, you will be providing virtual counselling services for TELUS Health Employee Assistance Program (EAP) over either a video or tele phonic platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide short-term counselling to a diverse set of clients dealing with various issues, within the terms and conditions of the client\xe2\x80\x99s EAP;
  • Provide excellent clinical services and embrace TELUS Health culture of continuous learning;
  • Manage the administrative requirements as dictated by TELUS Health clinical models.

Core qualifications and skills we are looking for:
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work
  • Registration with Professional College or Association;
  • Ability to set short term objectives and use a solution focused approach;
  • Ability to clinically manage high-risk cases, including clients who are a threat to self or others;
  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle a large volume of clients;
