Working Arrangement Hybrid



The Digital Content Publisher is responsible for working on our customer, business, and advisor-facing websites to create an engaging experience for our customers. This role involves using Adobe Experience Manager CMS and working closely with other publishers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional team members (UX, SEO experts) to deliver high-quality content.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Accountable for creating, editing, and optimizing various Manulife related sites within our Adobe Experience Manager
  • Knowledge of working within a design system
  • Creating webpages using preexisting components and templates from the CMS
  • Testing and reporting any production issues within CMS or with our websites
  • Ensuring analytics tagging is in place for all content type in collaboration with the Analytics team
  • Collaborating with our SEO team to optimize keywords, title, meta descriptions, and any requested tagging
  • Ensuring workflow process is in place and all content is approved prior to publishing
  • Adherence to web accessibility standards
  • Monitoring department inbox and ticketing system inbox, responding as required
Job Requirements:
  • University or college degree in English or French, Communications, Digital Design, Marketing, or related discipline
  • Experience as a Content Publisher, working in a content authoring tool or content management system like AEM or WCM an asset
  • Knowledge of HTML
  • Familiar with SEO concepts
  • Familiar with web accessibility and design
  • Demonstrated experience in editing and reformatting existing content for digital use (Web, mobile apps, etc.).
  • Experience with Adobe suite and image editing is an asset
  • Prior hands-on experience with a Web Content Management System such as Adobe Experience Manager a definite plus
  • Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with a sense of urgency
