Position Overview:
We're looking for a Digital Content Creator who's ready to take our brand and amplify it across the digital landscape. Reporting to and working in collaboration with our National Marketing Manager, this role provides an opportunity to shape how our brand is perceived online. You'll play a key part in a social rebrand, humanizing our company, building awareness, and creating authentic, educational, and engaging content that resonates with B2B audiences across Canada.
You'll bring our story to life through short-form video, thoughtful graphics, email marketing, and strategic storytelling, highlighting our people, services, and national footprint. You'll help uncover and develop new opportunities for brand exposure, engage with audiences and industry partners online, and contribute to a stronger digital presence. We're seeking someone who's just as comfortable behind the camera as in front of it, and who thrives collaborating with cross-functional teams, both remotely and in person. The right candidate will bring strong visual storytelling skills, a deep understanding of social trends, and the ability to create engaging, brand-aligned content, especially for B2B audiences.
You are:
You are a creative, strategic self-starter with a strong understanding of how to create content that suits each platform, from professional, educational posts on LinkedIn to visual storytelling on Instagram and engaging video content on TikTok. You know how to balance brand professionalism with personality, and you're confident in creating content from scratch that connects with B2B audiences and brings our brand to life.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain social media accounts to build brand awareness and audience engagement on LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
Maintain a consistent voice across platforms: professional, human, and approachable.
Create and produce engaging, on-brand B2B content, including short-form videos and social graphics (using Canva or Adobe tools).
Stay current on social trends and tailor content for each platform.
Build and maintain a content calendar with national and regional relevance.
Create and manage an email marketing strategy with monthly email newsletters and targeted email campaigns based on industry segments, promotional offers, and awareness initiatives.
Repurpose internal content (blog posts, listings, etc.) for social and email use.
Conduct competitor, industry, and keyword research to inform strategy.
Provide monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
Identify new content opportunities, advertising channels, and brand touchpoints that align with brand strategy.
Work independently and also coordinate with the internal team on campaigns and initiatives.
Support the design and creation of sales collateral (e.g. brochures, flyers, social decks).
Occasionally join in-person team meetings.
Assist with additional marketing tasks as needed to support the team during busy periods.
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing.
2+ years of proven social media management, with B2B experience.
Strong content creation skills: video, design, and copywriting.
Experience in hospitality, real estate, or corporate housing.
Strategic thinker with a creative eye and proactive mindset.
Comfortable capturing content and interacting with others on-camera.
Knowledge of SEO and/or paid social media is an asset.
Proficient in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and social media scheduling platforms.
Highly organized, collaborative, and self-motivated.
Note
Work remotely but be mobile locally, able to visit suites and capture content in your city or area, showcase the location, and engage with the team, with the possibility of travelling to different cities across Canada.
Bilingual (English/French) preferred.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
