  • Develop a social media strategy and campaigns to highlight key hospital initiatives, services and events - aligned to the hospital\'s strategic plan and reflective of the mission, vision and values
  • Create, manage and measure content across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn (including visual assets like photography, video and graphics)
  • Develop content calendars, measurement metrics and reporting tools
  • In partnership with senior members of the communications team, manage social media content and community management related to issues that may arise
  • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, security, privacy and AODA guidelines
  • Follows social media trends and best practices in the development and publishing of content/assets
  • Work collaboratively across the team to ensure integrated communications approaches
  • Working across the team and with key partners across the hospital, write/create and publish content for the website(s) and intranet (mywch.ca)
  • Coordinate incoming requests for changes, prioritizes need and develops publishing schedules
  • Complete regular updates to the pages of the website
  • Liaises with external digital communications partners and graphic designers as required
  • Provides recommendations on improving user experience according to web best practices and standards
  • Create and manage content on the digital screens across the hospital and at 77 Grenville St.
  • In partnership with senior members of the communications team, manage social and web content related to issues that may arise
  • Project manages the development, design and production of key digital projects
As a role model and champion you will work to identify and integrate safe, best practices into daily activities to foster the delivery of safe and exemplary care.

Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in digital communications, public relations, communications or journalism or post-graduate certificate in communications
  • 5-8 years digital communications/public relations experience (Experience in non-profit, public sector or healthcare an asset)
  • Advanced digital/social content creation including a strong sense social media best-practices and trends across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • Proficiency using content management and measurement tools like Loomly
  • Strong community management and engagement skills. Experience working with \'influencers\' is an asset.
  • Advanced digital writing and editing skills
  • Strong experience with web management/content management systems like Wordpress
  • Proficiency with computer software programs including Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Experience with UX and UI design, usability principles etc.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical, planning and project-management ability
  • Ability to manage multiple and often competing priorities and work under tight deadlines with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a complex environment that has a wide range of objectives, issues, stakeholder and operational factors
  • A responsible self-starter who is diplomatic, outgoing, and has a strong work ethic and ability to provide outstanding customer service
  • Demonstrated record of good performance and acceptable attendance will be considered as part of the selection criteria
  • Professional behaviour and communication that meets the standards of the professional regulatory college or association, as applicable, and the standards of Women\'s College Hospital
  • This position plays a critical role in acting as an advocate for safety and will demonstrate principles, practices and processes that will optimize a safe environment for all
