Reporting to VP Member Platform, the person in this role has solid technical and business knowledge of online & mobile banking software solutions. Responsible for maintenance, support, and enhancement of the online and mobile banking platform, the person in this role has a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. The person must lead and coach the product team members, providing them direction on tasks to produce top-quality programs that meet stakeholder expectations.

What will you do?
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and business teams across the organization to gather business requirements and member feedback.
  • Identify trends in behavior or demands that may point to areas for improvement.
  • Maintain a product roadmap and continuously groom the backlog based on business requirements.
  • Coordinate activities internally and with partners and 3rd party vendors on the implementation and launch of new modules and functionality in the business plan and the enhancements roadmap.
  • Provide support on the platform, address issues and respond to staff and member feedback and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and monitor the performance and availability of the online and mobile banking platform and coordinate with 3rd party vendors to handle incidents.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and other Product Managers to assess impact of new functionality on different platforms.
  • Review business requirements and design documents to ensure conformity with platform standards.
  • Lead and coach the product team members, review their deliverables and create a development plan for each role.
  • Review and manage the work performed by each team member to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
Some things that would impress us:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree/Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree preferably in Computer Science
  • Minimum 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a product owner/product manager/project manager
  • Experience in loan origination system and core banking system is an asset.
  • Experience in the banking sector is a must.
  • Experience in product management, project management and QA methodology.
  • Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile frameworks.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks and maintain high level of quality of work.
