Please visit for more information.We are looking for a Digital Assets Technician to join our team in Toronto.Position Overview:Reporting to the Head of Deliveries based in Montreal, the Digital Assets Technician will serve as a member to one of the most crucial departments in the company, linking all aspects of Production, Distribution and Technical Operations. The ideal candidate would be tech-savvy, knowledgeable of audio-visual operations and workflows, and passionate about increasing their knowledge and experience in this field.Main Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:xc2xb7 Prepare the digital files to deliver to the various clients, worldwide. This includes:o Using a variety of tools and software to transcode in-house digital assets into different audio-visual formats, including manipulating and transcoding closed captioning and subtitle fileso Quality control (QC) incoming and outgoing filesxc2xb7 Demonstrable experience using editing and delivery software such as Content Agent, Stanza, Baton QC, Adobe Premiere Pro, Aspera and Signiant.xc2xb7 Understanding of different closed captioning and subtitling software and tools, such as MacCaption and Stanza.xc2xb7 Deliver the converted and transcoded files to various clients, worldwide.xc2xb7 Maintaining the digital assets library.xc2xb7 Familiarity with different audio-visual formats and codecs.xc2xb7 Willingness to learn and adapt to new methods and techniques.xc2xb7 Communication between vendors and broadcasters to guarantee a smooth operation.Who You Are:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills - an ability to deal with people at all levels and a can-do attitude.
  • Proactive and have a forward-thinking mind-set.
  • First-class organization skills xe2x80x93 able to prioritize tasks and meetings accordingly.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent command of the English language; both written, and orally.
  • Passionate about film and media, with an interest in following the latest audio-visual tools and trends.
