Digital Account Manager





Talk Shop, a full-service, integrated communications agency, is expanding its digital team with the addition of a Digital Account Manager in our Toronto office. As leaders in traditional media relations, social media and experiential marketing, we work with some of Canada's top brands looking to engage consumers, media, digital and influencer marketing differently.



The Digital Account Manager will play a key role in shaping digital strategy for a portfolio of clients, managing workflow, client communications, and leading a team of digital executors. This is an opportunity to influence not only client campaigns but the growth and evolution of our digital practice.



Successful candidates will have a strong background in digital content strategy, ideally in an agency setting or for a national brand. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and multi-faceted business environment and be comfortable in the "grey" are a must. Excellent copywriting and editing skills, a creative approach, a strategic brain, and a passion for staying current with digital trends are essential.

Key Responsibilities





Lead digital content and campaign strategies for clients, including social media, content calendars, channel strategies, and visual asset recommendations Oversee client services for digital clients - client communications, check-in, reporting, etc. Ability to demonstrate how proposed social media solutions will show expected return investment for clients Act as the primary client contact for digital work, maintaining in-depth knowledge of clients' business goals Oversee production of visual assets (photo, video, graphics), providing editorial and creative direction Day-to-day management of Digital Account Associates - workflow management, content planning, editing, support and guidance as required Execute digital campaigns by managing and monitoring the day-to-day activities of digital advertising campaigns across multiple products and platforms ex. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok Collaborate with core PR and account teams to ensure integrated strategies run smoothly Serve as a digital campaign subject matter expert, deepening functional expertise, staying on top of trends, and partnering with other stakeholders to help align to our data-driven vision through ongoing integrations Leads by example via work ethic, team-building approach, attitude and overall collaboration Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)



Required Skills/Experience




Client service-oriented - must have agency experience in a similar role (Manager-level) Organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with a high level of attention to detail Ability to structure and prioritize issues Experience with organizational and team performance management 3-4 years experience in digital marketing -- including but not limited to social media (Instagram/Facebook, LinkedIn, Tik Tok etc.), paid advertising, influencer campaigns, affiliate/ambassador programs and content production Creative, out-of-the-box thinking to lead client strategies and campaigns Strong analytical skills abilities and problem-solving abilities Deep understanding of Facebook Business Manager, analytical tools (GWI, Meta Insights, Google Analytics) and creative collaboration tools (ex. Figma or Canva) Minimum 2+ years' experience developing and leading digital content strategy Strong copywriting skills Proven knowledge of paid digital strategy and execution would be an asset Experience leading and developing a team Ability to nurture client relationships

Compensation will be dependent on relevant experience. After 3 months of employment, the individual will be entitled to Talk Shop's comprehensive benefits program, which includes:
