Roseway Manor is seeking a dedicated Dietary Worker to join our team. Roseway Manor is a 66 bed long term care facility in Shelburne, NS.

Summary

The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and serving of meals while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role is crucial in ensuring that residents receive nutritious and delicious meals in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals following specific dietary requirements

- Ensure food safety standards are met during all stages of food handling

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment

- Provide excellent customer service to residents during meal times

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal operations

- Follow proper procedures for meal preparation, portion control, and storage

- Support in the setup and cleanup on dining areas

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or a similar role is considered an asset
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and procedures

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment

- Strong time management skills to ensure timely meal delivery

- Experience in a long term care facility also considered an asset

- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing to dietary needs

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $18.47-$18.73 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
