Dietary Aide/Cook



We are looking for energetic and hardworking staff that are passionate about food and love to work in a great environment.

This Part-time position is day shift only and requires availability during the week.



Qualifications:



Must be knowledge in safe food handling techniques. Good physical condition and able to meet the physical demands of the job. Successful candidate must successfully complete a Work Abilities Assessment arranged by the employer prior to commencing employment. Good attendance required Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills. Excellent listening skills, and ability to follow instructions Excellent time management skills are required to meet specific deadlines Excel and working on a team, and independently Good attendance, and punctuality required. Institutional / Restaurant cooking an asset

Education:



High School Diploma Safe Food Handling Certification Culinary, Pastry or Food Preparation programs/courses

preferred


Experience:



Food service experience (

food preparation, cooking, baking, serving)

in an institutional setting preferred. Bilingualism (English/French) and customer service experience is an asset.

Certification

:

Safe food handler certification

required

. Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check

required

. Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 / Influenza , TB(2 Step) tested

required
