Job Description

Trinity Village Studios is a 60 bed retirement home offering Independent and assisted living for seniors, located in Kitchener, Ontario. We are seeking driven individuals who are motivated by improving healthcare in the community.

This is casual position

Qualifications

Previous food service experience required
One year of experience in a Retirement Home or Long-term Care preferred

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Assist Cook with food preparation as required.
-Complete departmental cleaning and ware washing as required.
-Be knowledgeable of and practice residence's fire and safety programs.
-Serve food to residents observing special diet restrictions, resident preferences and outlined departmental procedures.
-Clear and wash tables and chairs
-Reports all accidents/incidents immediately.
-Reports all unsafe and hazardous conditions/equipment immediately.
-Complies with all infection control techniques, placement of biohazard containers and removal techniques, procedures and policies.
-Participates in Fire Safety and Mock Disaster procedures.
-Perform all other job duties as assigned
-Refer and adhere to all policies and procedures as they are in effect
- Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Casual

Pay: From $18.24 per hour

Schedule:

Day shift Evening shift Holidays Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
