Position:
As a member of the Chancellor Park interdisciplinary team, the successful candidate will perform kitchen and dining room duties including: limited food preparation; serving meals in resident dining room; delivering supplies to unit kitchens; cleaning kitchens, dishes, pots, pans, equipment and silverware; and other general kitchen duties. Dietary personnel take direction from the Dietary Manager and the Cook regarding daily work assignments.
Hours of Work:
Casual; scheduled or call-in as per operational requirements. Chancellor Park Dietary department currently operates on 10 hour shifts. Holidays and Weekends required.
Qualifications:
High school graduation
Current Basic food safety course, or willingness to obtain
Current WHMIS Training, or willingness to obtain
Experience in hospitality (3+ yrs)
Serving skills/experience
Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
Criminal Records Screening including Vulnerable Sector Check
Medical Certificate (including proof of immunization and TB testing)
